Renowned German DJ and producer Solee is set to release his 8th artist album named "Goldglut". The album, whose title poetically translates to "golden glow," captures the ephemeral moment just after sunrise, when the sun’s first rays paint the edge of the morning clouds with a radiant hue. This imagery, evoking both warmth and subtle intensity, mirrors the rich atmosphere of Solee´s music. The 21 tracks on Goldglut represent the culmination of Solee´s artistic work over the last two years, a period of deep reflection and exploration. And there are a few little surprises on the album, such as unreleased versions like the Turmbühne mix of "Luft", which Solee produced especially for his Fusion Turmbühne opening set. When we received Pavel & Alexandra’s track „Waterfall“, we knew quite quickly, this would become the first family work  of a release. As the debut of a singer on Nie Wieder Schlafen, a good chunk of the family was very excited to take on the Original and turn it into a personal adventure. With more remixes following up next year, we are utterly happy to introduce you to an all new part of the crew, who’ve been with us for quite a while now.
Stunning and diverse Remixes for Part I come from LADS (the collaboration between our longtime favourite Luc Angenehm and Gary Pilz), London based MockBeat and Sheffields biggest new talent, Yarni.
 
Pavel & Alexandra’s vision for the Original was to lay focus on the vocals with minimalistic percussion, arranged in such an effective way, that the production has huge spaces for the atmosphere to pan out and let the vocals shine in their most purest form. The accompanying piano pattern will instantly burn itself into your mind and has no plan to leave anytime soon.
 
MockBeat proves a lot with his remix here, showing what other styles he can pull off, while staying true to his specific synth use. His version results in a rather intimate, calm & dreamy intro building up more tension as the track moves a long to the final peak, where more of his style-characteristics make themselves noticeable. Filled with details and lovely fiedrecordings of Heartbeats and more – MockBeat gives the originnal a wonderful upgrade, while mainntaining the focus on the vocals, setting the bar high for the rest of the family.
 
The  groove experimentalists and new project LADS have decided against the obvious and made the vocals work to their interpretation, instead of strictly building it the other way around. Their remix keeps the focus on the rhythm, while adding pace-changing elements to the Originals key elements, truly givinng the whole atmosphere a striking new spin. As expected, a lot of work went into detailed sound engineering, like re-pitching, distorting and though out groove arrangements, with lovely organic elements. As the track moves along, un-settling melodies creep along to further build an atmosphere that keeps the listeners invested and on his toes at all times.
 
Sheffield’s new talent Yarni surprised us with a personal remix of „Waterfall“ – With influences from his recently released edit of Orbital’s „Belfast“ – another UK flavoured atmosphere touches down and combines quite beautifully with Alexandra’s Vocals. While the pianos were left behind, stunning basslines lead the track and open up wide for a perfect climax, that feels unforgiving, while still giving all other elements a chance to shine.

HVOB have only just released their impressive debut album, but the next EP is already on the way: "Always Like This" is almost a tribute to the Vienna-based electronic duo's current wave of success.
Number 1 in the iTunes Dance Charts in Austria and number 3 in Germany, number 3 in the Beatport Deep House Charts – and HVOB's eponymous debut album continues to win the band critical acclaim in a success story which began when the first snippets appeared on Soundcloud a year ago. HVOB's Berlin-based label Stil vor Talent, which is no stranger to success, has been delighted by one of its best selling albums to date.
HVOB's third EP is scheduled for release on April 26 – and the track selection seems to be more than mere coincidence. "Always Like This" is an accurate reflection of the young Vienna electro duo's life right now. Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are "super happy" with the way things are going, busy as they are with all the live appearances in cities like Berlin, Paris and Istanbul, long nights spent in the studio and the formation of new partnerships: alongside Four Artists, Primary Talent, one of the world's major booking agencies, will in future be looking after the interests of HVOB.
"Always Like This" is the third single from the album "HVOB". HVOB's cover of the track by British indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club mixes warm synth pads with soft beats, while Anna Müller's distinctive voice puts an entirely new spin on the melancholy of the original. Oliver Koletzki and Andhim have both made remixes of HVOB's interpretation of "Always Like This": Oliver Koletzki's version is powerful, emotive and melodic, while Andhim's shows incredible attention to detail and is intensely deep and original.
HVOB, which stands for "Her Voice Over Boys", are Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, who formed the duo in spring 2012. Müller (composition, production, vocals) and Wallner (composition and final production) produce intelligent, sophisticated electronic music, which is both easy to listen or dance to.
