The Caulfield Beats are,  they say , "a two-piece garage electronic band based in London" - but be very clear, there's nothing UK garage about them. They are 'garage' in the punk, home-made sense: their mixture of acidic techno, electroclash-y rigidity, subliminal sampled voices and off-beam song structures has a slightly ramshackle quality while still conspiring to kick you hard in the tender parts when you're not looking. They're a unique and puzzling proposition but we're definitely taken with this gurgling trip-out.

The latest episode of the When We Dip podcast is here and we're honoured to welcome an act which has played a big part in sculpting the shape of the electronic scene in Ireland.

Shane Johnson and Greg Dowling AKA Fish Go Deep are two of the truest musical pioneers on this green isle, last year celebrating a whopping twenty five years spinning the best in soulful, groove-filled House Music. The pair have impressed year on year with top quality releases on the likes of Defected Records, Innervisions and their very own Go Deep Recordings.

With new music forthcoming on Atjazz Music Company, Local Talk and more, 2015 looks set to be yet another big year for Fish Go Deep. We caught with Shane this week to find out what they've been upto and what the next few months have in store. So hit that play button and enjoy!

Greg Ochman delivers two contrasting yet complementary tracks that explore the emotional and rhythmic spectrum of indie dance. “Gravitate” builds patiently — a steady groove and evolving percussive layers pull the listener in deeper with every bar. The energy rises naturally, leading into a housy chord- driven breakdown that offers a moment of clarity, before diving back into a powerful section driven by a thick Moog bassline and infectious groove. It’s hypnotic, raw, and built for late-night dance floors. “Whitsun” offers a brighter, uplifting counterpart — a track filled with light, joy, and the warm blend of indie textures and electronic finesse. It's a feel-good ride that taps into a sense of freedom and presence, evoking sun-drenched moments and open-air
dancefloors.
Together, the two tracks form a cohesive narrative — one that moves between introspection and euphoria, groove and melody, depth and lightness. Another refined release from Greg Ochman,

Twelvepoint returns with its fifth release, and this time label boss Fordal is back with a stunning deep vocal original that’s already turning heads.
