[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present its 73rd release. Diving deep into the geocodes of consciousness, Jonah van der Hout (@jonahvanderhout) materializes on [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] with Earth kRank EP — a chronicle of digital psychonautics and analog resistance.

Hailing from Meinerzhagen, Germany, he implants four original tracks into the sonic field:

::: Researching Life opens the portal. An audio expedition into the self, where the pulse of synths synchronizes with the rhythm of thought.
::: Social Engegeering the Masses — a track like a data leak from utopia, where the masses are programmed to dance, forgetting who holds the controller. A tense monologue of a digital oracle, sewn into a concrete groove.
::: Wunsch Traumwelt sounds like a dream that never happened — yet its echoes still haunt you. It unpacks the archive of dreams: a fiction where noise is code, and silence is the access key.
::: Digitale Identität — a visit to the catacombs of your digital shadow. An audio doppelgänger of you, without you. Who are you, when you look at your login?

And five remixes, as if forged on the frontier of techno-consciousness and invisible revolution:

::: Daverage J. Normal (@thedaverage) hacks into Digitale Identität, transforming it into a bug you’ll enjoy hearing.
::: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) attacks Social Engegeering the Masses in Hacker Version — an old-school exploit that rewrites your memory in bits and loops.
::: GHRS (@ghrsmusic) drives Digitale Identität into a zone of static storms. Precise as a secret algorithm.
::: German F (@german_fed) — his take on Digitale Identität hypnotizes like a loading screen from a future that hasn’t happened yet.
::: Asphalt Layer (@asphalt_layer) reshapes Wunsch Traumwelt into a cloudy geometry scented with post-rain asphalt.

Earth kRank is a crack in the shell of reality. A system message from a parallel future where music is a bug report. An EP for those who feel the planet’s axis tilting. For those who hear how Earth thinks.

From Malmo With Love is a fantastic new various artists EP on the House Music With Love label that explores deep, emotive house music by Alex Moda, Edgar Ariza and Josefine Hellström Hansson. The three artists are all based in Malmö the Swedish city that brought up producers like Minilogue / Son Kite, Johanna Knutsson, Rivet, Per Hammar, Agaric and Ticon. This Swedish label really has A&Red some fine talent here and this is sure to be their classiest release yet.

Up first is Josefine Hellström Hansson offering Water Cave, a truly deep and excellent house cut with big cavernous open spaces, prickly little synth details and a sombre lead synth line that oozes sadness.

Fellow Swede and accomplished rummer Edgar Ariza then gets more upbeat with his propulsive but still rich and deep house roller Nebulous. This one has uplifting chords, dreamy vocals that melt into he groove and a nice sense of drive.

Lastly, a new but fast rising producer who has released on labels such as EQNation and now impresses with A place Called Myanmar. It is a deep and atmospheric techno tune that has soft drums, wavy synths and icy lines that really get under your skin.

This is a classy EP full of genuine mood and deep emotions that continues to mark out House Music With Love as a fine modern day house outlet.

Daniela Caldellas is a producer and DJ from Brazil. Having released music in many styles and guises over the years, Burn The Past, her debut offering as Terr, sees her return to her electro and techno roots.

This three track EP on Hotflush Recordings showcases Caldellas' extensive capabilities as a producer, with a variation of styles present throughout. From the vocal refrains of 'Burn The Past’ via ‘Metropolis’s electro flirtation to the stadium- sized 'May Day', Caldellas flexes a sure-footed range that hints at what’s to come. Burn The Past will be released on both vinyl and digital in April this year.

The white walls were illuminated by the glow of the morning sun. They appeared a stark contrast to the royal blue texture of the sky which radiated warmth in the early hours. Birds soared eagerly upon the breeze above the water down below as the flickering leaves of palm trees blew gracefully in the wind. It was a beautiful scene, like something from a picture book or postcard. Soon this would all be gone.

The Saqqara EP is a multilayered, sonic canvas from the mind of Chris Barratt, as he launches his new alias, Barratt, for Life and Death. Fine brushstrokes move from all areas of his musical hideout, spreading over five, varied, aural sculptures, each one warping and weaving on its own cosmic trajectory. Pooling from key aspects of his Eagles & Butterflies project, Barratt induces new musical shades, hinting at moments of disco and funk, through a lens of psychedelia. 

The title track is a late-night floor-filler - a bold yet uniquely personal necropolis built from riveting delays and arpeggiators. Time Bending sees DJ Tennis join in, stepping up with his trademark, rough around the edges production aesthetic, en route to unknown destinations. Barratt hones-in on a confident, stripped-down style on Khaos - rhythm versus melody -  just in time for festival season. 1983 soundtracks a ride to utopia on a rocket-fueled Vespa, leading to Collider, the land of un-quantised madness, where the most treasured of synthesisers live amongst their drum machine counterparts. 

Flowing yet incredibly interconnected, Saqqara is best interpreted as a mini artist album - the first of many Barratt offerings.

Exclusive Night Giants 'Dissipate (Mike Simonetti Remix)'

Electronic duo Night Giants elegantly bring together various styles with their music and showcase a potpourri of their current approaches on their upcoming 'Hold On Tight' EP. The band's three original tracks, 'Hold On Tight', 'Love Someone' and 'Dissipate', are viewed in a different light as they are endowed with remixes by John Dasilva, Massey and Mike Simonetti. The latter, also known for his project Pale Blue with Liz Wright and his label 2MR, takes on remix duties for 'Dissipate' and delivers a beautiful piece of music that easily outshines everything you've heard lately when it comes to electronic music with a touch of singing. Simonetti's remix starts with muttering chords before introducing Night Giants' vocal for the first time, which adds warmth to the rough and darkly kept instrumental and therefore creates a melancholy. The remix then unfolds its dance floor potential as Simonetti adds more complex and multi tonal synth melodies as well as a clap so his remix work gains even more drive before the vocal gets some space for itself and the listener is introduced to the acid-influenced last part of the track. 

Night Giants' EP 'Hold On Tight' will be released on Sprechen on June 3rd, 2019.
