He has been producing music since 2014 under the name JOHNY PABLO, displaying his elegant darkish vibe in some of the most colorful gatherings in Israel, Europe, and the USA. In 2018, Johny launched his new project ‘SEEL’, which displays an emotive and optimistic approach, fusing sophisticated electronica with live instruments, all framed with a slowish and very pleasurable tempo.

Take me higher is our next release on Pipe & Pochet by Pandhora. It is an ode to escaping a world that is falling apart. This track is a straightforward critique of modern society. There is hope elsewhere, beyond Earth, so why not explore? It is meant as a positive statement focused on space exploration. The second track Moonlight is about contemplating the moon and the stars above. It's about being more present and self-aware. One can reach self acceptance and explore its consciousness to go through life and modern times in a happy and positive way. Both tracks propose a way to deal with one's inadequacies to modern existence. On one hand, it's possible to search for another planet to live on. On the other hand, one could search for peace within and accept the flaws of society through contemplation and experience awe in nature, particularly when looking up to the skies on a clear night. The tracks in this EP have been remixed by Hrag Mikkel and Jerry Spoon.

Baby I'm the summer rain. A 107 BPM downtempo 2022 gem taken from IV-IN's debut on Magician on Duty. 

IV-IN is a producer, DJ, and Live-act from Romania. His music, as he describes it, is a “Natural movement in a synthetic world”, often characterized by the use of acoustic elements, guitar sounds, and “noise” that surrounds him, the raw organic feeling of the tracks, and an experimental approach towards producing. Playing guitar from his pre-teenage years, he slowly built this sound into his electronic productions along with his deep voice and lyrics that draw inspiration from the life he lives.

If only this poetry could define how your presence takes me towards cloud nine. Your touch brings sensations that feel divine, yet, my tongue is quiet, fighting this muse of mine.

Waiting for the moment our lips can greet,
your sweet voice takes control of my heartbeat.
I sigh hallelujah, as our eyes meet,

Suddenly the pen flows like buoyant streams,
describing love that's only seen in daydreams.

Following a cascade drop of singles that kept everyone on their toes this past couple of months, time has come to unveil Fabian Krooss' eagerly awaited debut long-player, 'Colorfuel'. A portmanteau word for the vivid colourful spectrum that infuses Krooss' blends and that role of energetic provider it plays, 'Colorfuel' oozes a vibrant mix of dance floor-ready dynamism and effervescing curiosity, packed with surprises at every corner. Completed and finished in the Autumn of 2023, Krooss' debut album takes you on a smooth journey from start to finish, showing the variety in his productions, spanning from melancholic to uplifting, playful to funky and deep to chill. Starting with the soulful 'Oh Darlin', Krooss steers us on the path of laid-back Chicagoan rhythms and feelgood Afro soulfulness, weaving solar-powered sensitivity with vaporous floor dynamics to hypnotic effect. A further balmy slice of atmospheric electronica tinged with hints of dream-pop and balearic house, "Staring" cruises at its own tranquil pace across colour-shifting horizons and gently jagged reliefs. Pumping out an exquisite blend of sluggish house jack alongside archetypal Andalusian flavours and bass-driven manoeuvres, 'Phoenix' (feat. Drawing in a more subdued palette of rhythmic elements, sprinkled with an eerie melody and stripped-back synth funk, 'Inside of Me' makes for a perfect transition track, with 'Manaki' going a further jagged route, as Krooss draws further deep into the Italo style, infusing his stellar arps and brittle piano chords with a thick FX gravy. Contorting itself at the junction of straightforward jack and a more prog-minded construction that seem tailored for stadiums, 'Elasticity' (with Atish) finds Krooss at his most precise and adroitly versatile. Beaming up unadulterated joy and sunrays across its six minute-ish ride, 'Coquin' bounces back and forth, ushering us into a jam-packed hacienda where the thick volutes of freshly lit havanas coalesce with the exhilarating scent of ron. A trippy ride down memory lane, 'Back To The Oldschool' conjures up images and components straight out the 90s, buzzing with that fun swash of hip-hop and tech-tinged hybrid. A delicate slab of balearic-informed deep house, 'Mtende' serves up a lascivious mishmash of coastal iridescence and sub-Saharan style polyrhythms. Topping off that broad sweep across house's manifold colour chart, 'Tied In Knots' (feat. Harry Charles) treats us to an elevating mix of Spanish guitars and 303-marinated acid bass, taking us from classicism up the modernist ladder in the blink of an eye.

‘Music is my anchor, my passion, my favorite form of expression’, Fabian says, adding: ‘I want to surprise’. It’s this belief in freedom that drives his work as an artist, unafraid to experiment and craft a profoundly personal sound in the process. A juxtaposition often sits at the heart of his tracks, as Fabian sprinkles lush or mischievous melodies over springy, sometimes elastic and other times static rhythms, nodding to organic and minimal house at once. It’s Fabian’s deep-rooted feeling for sound that fuse these disparate motifs into an irresistible whole as his productions unfold and flourish with intricate details and surprising touches, always united under a tight groove.

All of these addictive attributes are equally omnipresent when Fabian helms the booth – with a nonchalance rooted in pure joy that’s perceivable in an instant. Here, again, he intrinsically becomes the storyteller, weaving an authentic narrative while turning the room upside down. Whether that’s with a sunny selection at Sisyphos Strand, peak-time power at Bucht der Träumer, Wilde Möhre or Feel Festival or a dubbed-out affair for Afterhour Sounds. While by no means a recent presence in Berlin with past gigs at favourites like Kater Blau, Sisyphos, or Ritter Butzke, the last years took Fabian further afield to festivals like The Monastery, Bucht der Träumer, Feel, scene highlight ADE or shows around the world in Oaxaca, Tulum, Zanzibar, New York, Miami, Washington, Seattle, Istanbul, Amsterdam and many more.
