Originally released on Volume and Tension in 1994, the 'Duster' EP was one of only two releases Toby Warren completed under the Hi Tech Criminal moniker, it has since gone on to become a rare gem of a record that swaps hands for princely sums. Klasse Wrecks is very pleased to announce the re-issue of the original tracks on vinyl and digital and happy to announce an exclusive-never-heard-before mix of the title track. The 4 tracker harks back to a period in time when creativity and originality was at an all time high in dance music. The tracks on the 'Duster' EP defy categorization, part bouncing House, part progressive and driving Techno...all good.

WWM is happy to welcome one of the purest talents of the scene, directly from Kyiv, Vladimir Gnatenko.
Vladimir built his reputation with some outstanding live shows, and he is one of the most interesting artists of the shining Ukrainian scene.

The EP is a perfect example of the diversity of styles he covers, from 4/4 to breakbeat with a very unique blend of spacey trance sound which is a trademark of his productions.

A side opens up with Storm, an emotional excursion into Vlad’s art. Nostalgic synth lines evolving into a hedonistic dancefloor banger.

A2 is Roosblom, a kidnapping tune that brings you to a dystopic world when new forms of life are trying to surface.

On the flip side, we have Toevlug, the most introspective piece of the EP. Melancholic sounds and robotic sequences create a dreamy aura while the sneaky breakbeat held up the tension.

Skarrel closes the EP with a ruthless 4/4 beat combined with a gloomy atmosphere that finds its climax on the break. That’s pure madness in a big sound system.

DECADA 2 musical and visual playfulness trailblazed the electronic scene in Mexico in the mid 80s.
The project channels Mateo Lafontaine’s luminous mind and otherworldly persona into an audible experience.
The mexican producer is a sonic alchemist, exploring and combining a multitude of electronic genres. The result - Mateo’s interpretation of the club music Zeitgeist. 
2020 marked 35 years of Decada 2 and the unfortunate, sudden passing of the artist. This release is a testimony of the legacy of this pioneer of electronic music in Latin America. Still very touched by Mateo’s loss and energised by his involving vibe, we are looking forward for the release of this record. A big thank you to Mario Lafontaine for the genuine trust and support, and to all the people involved in this project.
