In the aftermath of Pixels (2015), Sam Brenner was assigned to help the U.S. government detect future alien threats and dimensional intrusions, and was partnered with a team of CIA agents to assist if any similar events ever occur again. Unfortunately, with the U.S. government being the U.S. government, somewhere along the way they decided that Paul Blart the mall cop would be chosen to be the right hand man in fighting the alien forces along Sam.
