Whores & Thieves is a Danish rock band rooted in a town with a thousand inhabitants in the heath of Jutland. Whores & Thieves writes songs with strong references to the daily life, troubles, youth and love in the often forgotten parts of that same part of the country. 

Whores & Thieves is a true DIY. All songs are written in the bands studio, arranged, produced and finished by the members of the band themselves. Furthermore the band makes the music by a certain set of rules such as when an idea of a rhythm, a set of chords or a line of text has been agreed on, the song must be finished. Combined with a rule of always recording all the basic instruments live without editing them afterwards, this brings a certain honesty and impulsiveness to the songs. In general no editing is used, what you hear is what we played.

Whores & Thieves released their debut album ‘Anti Echo Chamber’ (Trechoma Records) in the fall of 2012. The record generated airplay on nation-wide radio stations including the Danish national radio which put the track “Digging Holes” in rotation. A couple of German radio stations also picked up Digging Holes and put it in rotation. 
In 2015 the band followed up with their second record, ‘Silent Town’ (Trechoma Records), which again claimed airplay on several radio stations after receiving several five star reviews from the Danish music press.
Shortly after the release and in the midst of touring with their second record, the bands activities were sat on pause due to serious illness in the band. Just recently the band has begun working on an EP to relaunch the band into hopefully a new successful streak of shows in Europe and America. 

Whores & Thieves have played more than a hundred concerts in Denmark & Germany including the biggest Festivals in the former, such as Skanderborg Festival and the Danish version of SXSW, SPOT Festival.
