Berlin-based Dj, Producer, and Drummer Pascal Karier has been active as Dj Goodboy since 2018 and is by now a regular in Berlin underground venues and radio shows, including Cashmere, Threads and Mutant. His kaleidoscopic dance sets build an intense energy on angular grooves, energetic jams and weird ambient vocal samples, providing a refreshing and dynamic experience for the crowd.

Drawing upon his extensive experience as a live musician, Goodboy recently performed his debut live set: the fusion of gritty drum machines, heavy bass, and deconstructed voices fuels a driving momentum on the floor. Co-founder of the Berlin-based multidisciplinary party collective “ouch”, which focuses on music and inclusivity, curating unique evenings full of rare grooves, spanning experimental electronics, new productions, and obscurities with a worldwide perspective stepping out of the usual binary sounds in the club scene with a strong commitment to the dance floor and club culture. Ouch collective celebrates plurality and aims to raise gender and race awareness in the club scene. As an extension of the events, ouch Collective hosts a monthly live radio at the experimental Berlin based community radio Cashmere. With a rich and varied musical background, Goodboy consistently endeavors to foster a more forward-thinking club scene, pushing boundaries and creating a more inclusive and progressive club environment.

His first EP ‘Koko Ni Kite’ was released on London-based Claptrap in late 2022.

Elliot is the founder of truelove. – a Leeds-based, forward-thinking club night and mix series.

Over the past 7 years, they have frequently invited guests who rarely make appearances in the city, whilst providing a platform for emerging artists who share a like-minded view of musical expression.

Elliot also hosts a residency on alto radio and draws music from a diverse sonic palette in his sets. He is a patient DJ who allows records of their time to breathe, equally as adept at telling a story through a well-crafted warm-up or a euphoric, peak time offering.

Dominik André is an active force in the Zurich music scene – as a DJ and with his genre-busting label Subject To Restrictions Discs. He is known for his unconventional selection and for creating deep and transcendent as well as ecstatic moments on dancefloors of Festivals and Clubs.

A decade on, a wide-scope vision has crystallized that blurs the lines of dance music. Always attracted by the weird and the unknown, Dominik André blends quirky techno with mutant trance, always immersed in a Wave and post-punk-inspired aesthetic.

As former resident at Club Zukunft, now regularly seen at Kauz Club, Kasheme and Stereo in his hometown of Zurich, he also got recognised outside the city. This has taken him to clubs such as Motel Campo in Geneva, Arkaoda in Istanbul, Astron in Athens, Klub Kegelbahn in Lucerne and to festivals like Am Bach, Lethargy, Electrosanne or Montreux Jazz.

He also shares his broad musical understanding on radio stations around the world. He currently hosts the monthly radio show Murky Rhythms Collide on Radio Raheem in Milan and has made guest appearances on radio stations including Rinse FM in London, Kiosk Radio in Brussels and the much-missed Red Light Radio in Amsterdam.

Besides his DJ career, Dominik André has a reputation for learning about and documenting electronic music and its scenes as a journalist and publicist. When he's not DJing, he takes care of the creative and administrative direction of his label Subject To Restrictions Discs. With more than 20 releases the label has established itself internationally as a place for 80s- and 90s-influenced music with cross-genre aspirations.

Helga - DJ with several roles in the music industry. Co-founder of the Estetika label, curator of the WOX project aimed at promoting female producers and DJs. 

Mixing different genres, Helga tries to take the listener on a musical journey with a predominance of house groove, breakbeat and trance, making it impossible to identify one dominant style.

"I recorded this set by going through the steps I usually play in a DJ set. Starting with laid-back groovy rhythms at 120 BPM that allow for easing into a set early in the evening. This first part is heavily influenced by South American artists and labels, such as Ademarr, Theus Mago, and Tierra de Ovnis. The set evolves in the final part towards more club-oriented tracks, evoking late-night vibes and higher BPMs."

Zaatar is an artist originally from Morocco, based in France, who has stood out since the beginning of her career for her unique sound signature. She carves her own path by delicately blending her Moroccan heritage with influences from EBM, New Beat, and Trance. Quickly becoming a force in the Body Music scene, Zaatar has built a reputation both as a prolific producer and a captivating DJ. Discovered on Ritmo Fatale with her powerful track "Abiad Al Layali," she released her first EP on the highly respected label Dischi Autunno.

Alongside recognized artists in the scene, she has already performed at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels, Gaïté Lyrique in Paris, Macadam in Nantes, Le Sucre in Lyon, Else and Renate in Berlin, as well as for Astropolis, Positive Education, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

With her authentic and unconventional approach, Zaatar skillfully
multiplies her influences, breaking free from any stylistic or genre
barriers. She thus creates her own sonic landscape, characterized by captivating rhythms often accompanied by melancholic melodies.

As we approach the second birthday of Italo Heat, it felt like the right occasion to invite myself on my own platform and release my first solo mix. I'm really happy about how this set captures my latest inspirations. Italo Heat has always been a platform that is running away from being put in boxes, and this is a statement of what dazzling records mean to me these days. A story of varying temperatures and relentless bangers, writing itself in my endless quest for a light in the darkness.

At the helm of his beloved label, Marsman preaches the ‘Pinkman sound’ to congregations of devoted followers. Holding court for over ten years now, he released more than 100 records and hosted countless club nights all over the world. With over 15 years behind the decks, and the breathless release schedule he orchestrates for Pinkman and its subsidiary labels - Mindri, Broken Dreams & Charlois - Marsman has
become a central figure in a close-knit scene of rough-around-the-edges DIY dance music.

Usually a slot reserved for nothing short of legendary figures like thee one and only Andrew Weatherall (their most regular guest) or Optimo (their second most?), an open-to-end set at Spezialmaterial is certainly not for everyone. A journey into the weirder dark corners of club music? An energetic yet hypnotic psychedelic trip? We'll let you be the judges of that. It is certainly 100% C.P.I. at its essence. Dive in with an open mind and ye shall be rewarded.

C.P.I. is the collaborative effort from long-time Hivern Discs operative Marc Piñol, a staple in Barcelona’s underground electronic scene and one of its most revered DJs, and Berlin-based artist, DJ and self proclaimed dilettante, Hugo Capablanca who runs his somewhat iconic label(s) Discos/ Ediciones Capablanca.

Bound by a shared love of drone luminaries, ’80s electronica experimentalists, early acid house adopters, mutant techno and forward-thinking industrial sounds, the duo wrote their first Ep El Tunel/ Proceso in a whirlwind and, released on 2015 on John Talabot’s imprint, positioned themselves among the most talked club acts of the moment, earning both press and public acclaim with an innovative blend of their influences and modern production techniques that became easily distinguishable.

In 2018 their sophomore Ep Meine Hand is released. That same year C.P.I. receive the prestigious RTF Foundation composer’s grant and work for months in what consolidates in their debut album, Alianza.
Released on 2020 to wide critical acclaim, the LP featured Anna Homler, Veronica Vasicka and Spacemen 3 members, among others, and represented a pivotal shift in the duo’s creative output, leaving aside dancefloor concerns towards a fully immersive sound experience.

On May 2021 C.P.I. performed their first-ever live show in Barcelona deconstructing Alianza into a dark ambient maelstrom. Ambient Blackout, the live recording of the show, released end of 2023 on Ediciones Capablanca.

The Why people dance question was asked for the first time in Lithuania back in 2013 but it gained a worldwide echo in its 8 years of existence. Run by @pauliuskamblevicius with the help of @experimentsserial and a network of collaborators, the online electronic music platform and label keeps its heart open for new friends and treasure finds but its filter tight and deep underground.
