For the 10th of our mixes series we bring you the unmistakable sounds of Italo/Catalano DJ and producer Juanjo Obon AKA LoveTheMachine.
His productions come to us from record labels with a certain criteria and of ineffable quality as @Tonn records @Coldbeatsrecords @Banshees records..and soon on @oraculorecords.
The "Obon" sets are characterized by a sonority that is totally his own while he uses very rare 7", cassettes and machines connected directly to the mixer.

UnusualMixes10//Obon

Amsterdam based producer, movie composer and sound designer Jesse Koolhaas likes to lock himself in his studio and make music using the various vintage synthesizers that he gathered over the years. Influences in his music are early synthesizer pioneers like Tangerine Dream, Jun Fukamachi, Richard Pinhas, Georges Rodi and many more.

As DJ and producer, Fernanda has been in the party, production and underground electronic scene in Santiago, Chile for more than 10 years before establishing herself in Madrid.

She released numerous eps on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Duro, Pets Recordings, theBasement Discos or her own United Colors of Rhythm label.
As dj she's a resident at infamous CafeBerlin in Madrid.

Her sound moves between deep house and techno, synthesizers also influenced by the 80s, bright boxes, Latin rhythms and pop machines. The result is a music between dark, funny and intense rhythms: a risky proposition, yet easy and intuitive that causes a physical effect shared on the dance floor.
