Belly Dance Services garnishes late summer season with VARIOUS WORLDWIDE III – it’s the third VA chapter featuring five different artists from across the globe.

The journey starts with Tel Aviv based producer LOTT. CAMELS DON’T RUSH, is a great opener driven by one chunky bassline blended with acidic synth elements. A massive tune that shows LOTT’s talent to fuse eastern sounds with western house music inspired elements.

Track two comes from DUCATI FLUX, he’s the Co-Label-Head of Berlin based Odd Pleasures and half of Random Atlas. With NAHUAL, the virtuoso of chilean origin gifted us with a catchy dark tune that is full of playfulness and shows the catchy creative side of the producer.

The third track comes from berliner HEIDENREICH featuring singer OBENOHNI. THE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING is not just the name of the song, it’s also what this indie stepper musically stands for. A psychedelic voyage driven by sudden suspense, and also the intense vocal elements make you feel like in a interactive dance cabaret.

The fourth masterpiece comes straight from Amsterdam by PERDU who recently had his release on Live At Robert Johnson. IS IT YOU, FEAR? is a gloomy obscure composition that is guided by percussive elements and builds up to a banquet of trippy grooves.

The final countdown is delivered by Mexican ULISES ARRIETA. CONSTRUCTIONS is dark disco at it’s purest manner: metallic drums creating a sticking melody and the vocal samples that reappear… will make the crowd go bonkers.

Lukas Poellauer - Departure [Fortunea]

Lukas Poellauer comes back on fortunea with an ambitious 5 track ep. Mixing up house music with the use of traditional instruments and vocals by Spitting Ibex singer Aunty on some of the tracks.
It starts off with ‚Going Down’. An impressive introduction with reminiscences to early garage house records. ‚Falling Back’ folllows up on A2. A tight bass is companied with piano-cues, glittery strings
and a mysterious saxy breakdown, that gives the listener a sort of a cosmic film-noire vibe.
The melancholy continues with the next piece. ‚Departure’, the title-track of this record is placed on the B-side. A trumpet and a vibraphone are the main elements in this laid back, jazzy deep house
tune. It certainly has the blues in it.
While Aunty was only present on the first track for a couple of lines, her voice is placed now more on the foreground with her party song ‚It’s All Good’ on B2.
The record closes with a danceable rework of ‚Departure’ Tieffrequent label head Siggatunez is responsible for this version.

Co-pilot is the new solo project by MajaKovich's ex drummer, Giovanni "Giangi" Natalini. After his first work (DIY EP) released on
Belgian Wémè Records, he landed at Simona Faraone's label, New Interplanetary Melodies, which for this occasion released its
first tape: Botanical Illustration Takes Patience and Skill.
This limited edition concept Ep is composed of 3 tracks entirely produced and played by Giangi and united by an ecological message
supporting the gentle and ancient botanical art (each tape comes out with a jute bag containing seeds to plant!). The title track (A1)
it's an 8 minute suite which perfectly combines powerful live drum breaks with vocal samples and synths able to carry the listener
until the top of unexplored exotic mountains.
The B side opens with Himawari (B1) an ecstatic track sounds like a desert session on Fuji mountain for a pure musical mysticism
result. On the end Mother Love Nature (B2) leads us to a more familiar territory related to the brand new experimental British trip
hop.
Botanical Illustration Takes Patience and Skill is a compact and solid work that highlights not only Giovanni Natalini’ technical drum skills but also an on point producer able to combine sound research between organic and electronic music.

Ancient Roman sculptures and early 20th century hydroelectric machinery are coexisting at Centrale Montemartini. A "sui generis" museum located in the Ostiense district of South Rome where Italian dj/producer Ant aka A-Tweed is based. Previously it was a power plant, transformed into a museum in 1997, the second exhibition pole of the Capitoline Museums.

This is a brand new acid and weird slow EBM track dedicated to that special place.

Brian SNR is back with us and a wicked slo-mo chuggy n dubby offering of ‘Hot Shot’ whilst JB Dizzy breaks out the arpeggiators to devastating effect on ‘Freak Street’ and Gaël De L’lvresse in duo with Sophie De L’lvresse (now just going by De L’lvresse) presents a wicked bass driven infectious romp with ‘Field River’.

Elsewhere there are offerings from long standing friends & members of the Paper family with Joe Morris making a long awaited return on a great piece of late night smoke & lasers style shenanigans on ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ plus there’s Kooky & Damoon dropping more slick disco sounds, From Beyond with another cosmic sounding slice of brilliance and Pico going all trippy with his offering.

Oh and from newcomers we have some jazz-esque edit vibes from Secret Soul Society, a classic gets cut up & rearranged by Jahn Solo whilst there’s an incredible but of 80’s soul/post disco sounds from Paper Street Soul.

"Class of Taxonomy" is the second EP by Italian dj/producer and tireless music digger A-Tweed, a new concept odd work dedicated to extinct animals and human self-destructive behaviours. Including remixes by Dengue Dengue Dengue and Ground, and a special paleolithic artwork from the outer space by the great Léo Marsal.

Antonio De Oto aka A-Tweed was born in the upland region of Molise, Southern Italy and after skipping several towns is now based in Rome since 2014. His music is marked by dark and trippy acid vibes with afrofuturism, cosmic disco, global bass, tropical house, psychedelic tribalism, weird downbeats and 360° worldwide sample digging. 

Each track of the EP is inspired by three different extinct animals. Opening track "Plesiosaurus Social Security" with its no sense title and its uneasy dark and lo-fi vibes reflect A-Tweed's passion for Scottish Highlands foggy landscapes and tribalism. Could that Plesiosaurus be "Nessie" from Loch Ness? Maybe... "Dodo Crash Report", which can also count on an impressive and astonishing remix by Peruvian Berlin based duo Dengue Dengue Dengue, is a metallic wonky arp tune  dedicated to Mauritian extinct bird dodo. Techno meets tribal disco with a powerful bassline and thumping percussive grooves.

Quagga, South-African zebra extinct in 1883, get its revenge in third track "Zebra Xing" which is a tribal downbeat tune with eerie organic and drum samples and spooky melodies has the purpose of make reflect about human being role in ambiental and zoological disasters.  This track is also remixed by gifted Japanese Ground from Osaka based label Chill Mountain. Such a good way to close this "acid weird slow disco" EP.
