@XXXTheLabel is a new dutch label created by a bunch of friends that run the eponym "XXX" club nights in Amsterdam. We supported their very cool first release by "Jack Pattern" through our infamous Youtube channel and now comes in a few weeks the second one by Lipsky brother's Simple Symmetry . We do really like their unique fresh blend and premiered not so long ago their track Kalimba on "Cosmic Pint Glass". But to change a bit the game, here is the Marvin & Guy's Afterhour Mix, a long 10 mn epic cut you'd already wish to hear at 6am. in a summer beach festival on those "hands in the air" euphoric moments ! Italian Nu Disco artist Tulioxi arrives on @NightNoiseMusic with a fantastic new three tracker.

@Tulioxi has put out more than 30 releases in his career. Releasing on an array of labels whilst also running his own in Cosmic Sumo Recordings. Furthermore, he is a developer of the MEFF Modular Synth Exhibition in Florence. As such his hardware sounds are full of texture and feeling as this new EP proves.

These three tracks are the result of a blend of the major influences that have characterised Tulioxi's musical DNA, from the seventies up to the present day. From the streets of New York, its gangs, the dirt and the funk.

Post disco and new wave fusionists Marcello Carozzi and Francesco Mingrino are @YoungerThanMe, and they bring their retro flavours to a second remix of ‘You Are Bad Luck.’ It’s a late night cruiser with silky synths and old school 80s flavours that add up to a deeply cosmic trip.

With this EP Night Noise Music prove they are leading the way when it comes to essential modern disco.

One of the key figures of the Berlin techno disco/chug scene and founder of the Kater Blau based Feinstoff parties, @freudenthal a.k.a 1/2 of @Pardonmoiband is a busy man – not only organizing the most colourful & sophisticated parties at respected venues like Salon Zur Wilden Renate, or Ritter Butzke, but also with a number of high quality releases (EP’s & Remixes) on labels such as Höga Nord Rekords, NEIN Records and Roam Recordings as well as his glorious live/DJ sets at Katerblau & Bachstelzen.

Berlin-based producer Alejandro Molinari reunites the two old pals rock and electronic in this new remix for the trio Sex Kino (aka James Brook from Pardon Moi, Vincent Littlehat and Jonas Häussermann). Including thrilling guitar riffs, heavy bassline and epic synths, this club burner is part of Sex Kino’s first EP on Roam Record’s, available on may 24th and also including a remix from Theus Mago & Moisees.

Just in case the weather’s not hot enough for you, Correspondant bring even more heat with the second instalment of their ‘Numéro’ series. A new unchartered galaxy for new and rising artists and friends of the label to explore and lay down their own rules, anything can – and will – happen.
Following the concept launch earlier this year, ‘Numéro 02’ instantly thrusts us out of orbit for another cosmic crusade from Belfast man-of-the-moment LOR. Triumphant synths on a rocket powered groove, it sets the tone as Israeli newcomer Niv Ast, who makes a swift return after remixing Fort Romeau, takes us even further into the universe with ‘Generally Alone’.

For the return ticket back to our over-heated home planet Italo duo Concret and friend Cantor take the controls. ‘Freaks’ is a chunky psychedelic blur through the stars with occasional asteroid washes of guitar while ‘Hardcode’ marches us back into reality with staccato savoir-faire.

On his debut album Melt, Stevie R brought us the sounds of rebetronica, his very own fusion of the rebetiko music he was raised on during his childhood in Greece with the latest in forward-looking off kilter house and techno music.
Allying himself with the Egyptian poet and glitch producer CERPINTXT and Turkish singer/songwriter Djanan Turan, he delivered a wonderful LP. Now, through the Editions of Kincaid, Simple Symmetry and Martin Buttrich, the album is presented in a new light with a set of fresh and powerful remixes.
They do not disappoint. Londoner Kincaid (Aeon, Anjunadeep, Futureboogie) reimagines Botsa Botsa into a killer starry, widescreen slow disco cut powered by a hypnotic acid line. Meanwhile, Disco Halal heroes Simple Symmetry draw inspiration from rave-era Prodigy to create a reworking of Delias, which is equal parts incredible and insane. Dancefloor destruction is assured.
The package finishes with two versions of Gkii from the legendary Martin Buttrich, who draws on a classic and rolling deep house vibe for his glitch inspired Class A Edition, along with his Blib Dub. Powering on from their successful year of releases, the Berlin-based duo Local Suicide have teamed up with Kalipo, the Bavarian producer whose downbeat, hazy tracks are renowned for their electric melancholy vibes.

Releasing on Hold Your Ground, a sublabel of Audiolith, that credits a wide range of countries and influences to bring them the best electronic sounds from around the world, allows for the diverse talent on the EP to take centre stage.

The two tracks Dominator and Crocodile ooze new wave nostalgia and confront us with the metaphorical vocals that reminisce in our experiences as humans. Dominator's syncopated kicks and synths march toward you like a band of dancers, while the sassy vocals inspire that feeling of rebellion and seduction. Crocodile is a much grizzlier track, with the synths resonance taking full effect on your ears as the succinct vocals chant to you like they are coming from within.

Mateo González - who the duo know well from collaborating with on previous projects such as last year's track Komm Ins Loch - has taken Dominator in his stride and given us 2 remixes from his ulterior aliases. The Theus Mago remix is a harrowing acid-trip take on the track; dipping its metaphorical toe into the dark and mysterious pool of techno that he approaches his remix's with. Keeping the vocals isolated and minimal, the track glitches into a world of its own interpreting and digesting its own melody and rhythm. Bufi's remix hits us with housey and disco claps and cowbells, bringing us into a bohemium jungle, full of exotic but intriguing ingredients that overcome all the senses.

The final remix on the EP is Saint Petersburg's Radial Gaze's take on Crocodile. The track, in a major key, incorporates laser synths that shoot out in every direction, while the manipulated voice that lures you into the climax of the track is met with ringing percussion; keeping those same grizzly kicks from the original track

A superb compilation of electronic and new wave sounds, intended to tempt each listener whatever their musical pleasures. The nostalgia-inducing project is set to be released on the 7th of February 2020, on Hold Your Ground
