Based in the Netherlands, Doctr signs here his very first release with Mélopée.
A heterogeneous EP of 4 original tracks mixing its influences, sensitive and complex.
A haunting musical edifice where the groove and fabulous melodies tell the story of a third kind encounter.

“First Contact” is a powerful Italo Banger.
The track is definitively efficient, strong and takes off in an epic way when the melody comes.

The piece “Please take me with you” can’t be explained, it can be listened to.
Slow speed, captivating pad and lead, let’s go for the goose bumps.

With “Peace, no peace”, it’s time to fight it out on the dancefloor.
The Italorave song is fast, uncompromising, unfolding a frantic rhythm.

The last original sound “Where do we go from here” seems to be about hope after conflict.
A splendid italo tune perfectly cutted to close the party.

After having remixed Panthera, it’s now Panthera who takes care of giving one for Doctr.
He signs here a fantastic and rolling story, inspired by 80s atmospheres.
As per usual, the audience is transported, eyes closed, smile on the lips : thrills guaranteed !

To close the release, we welcome again the talented Valerj for the second remix.
He gives to “Where do we go from here” a darker and more progressive touch, where the tension keeps building over and over again. Awesome !

For release number 045, Luv Shack Records brings together two long time contributors Jakobin and ROTCIV for a split EP thats brimming with references to early 90s electronica.
Jakobin lays the foundation with the bubbly, trance infused 'Drawan', follows up with the spooky, upbeat electro of 'Skulpt', and finishes off with 'Octagonial Tribe', a track that oscillates between laid back melodies and squelchy acid sequences.
On the flip-side, ROTCIV showcases his signature style of industrial new beat madness: 'Frenesy' marries breakbeats with syncopated synthesizer sequences, 'No More Room in Hell' sound like a late 80s Italo Disco instrumental on steroids, while 'The Confidence' opts for broken beats and ethereal FM-flutes. As a digital bonus, ROTCIV gifts us with a heavy hitting, acid infused track by the name of 'Living Art'.

Paradise + acid = Paradacid. Paradacid is a two-part EP that blends the gritty sounds of 303 and 808 machines with the euphoria of warehouse raves and the ambiance of virtual landscapes and Final Fantasy soundtracks.

This EP combines introspective tracks from periods of isolation with uplifting ones from moments of release, offering a diverse sonic experience without pushing a narrative. It's up to the listener to find their own meaning within the vibrant mix of old and new.

The essence of "Paradacid" lies in its name—a blend of paradise and acid, symbolizing the fusion of blissful soundscapes with the sharp, distinctive edges of acid house and electro.
