Positiver is a fresh new producer based in VIlnius, Lithuania. His love for music started in DJ duo ''Absurd'', but few years, when pandemic hit the world and rushing life had to stop, it was a time to get back to your trueself. Inspired by musicians like Sweely, Adam Pits or Liquid Earth, experimentation with sound design began. Cozy bedroom grew into studio with synthesizers and jamming abilities. "Groovy drums, jumpy basslines, uplifting pads and acid motives is what drives me the most while jamming in the studio'' - he says.

We all piled in, five of us crammed into one of the tub-shaped cars, giddy and giggling. There was a brief commotion as we argued over who was going to sit next to who, but soon we were off and the laughter continued, slightly more hysterical now. A surly teenager working on the ride immediately gravitated to our car and gave it a spin, sending it lurching in the opposite direction that the undulating ride was travelling. Some cheesy old-rave banger was playing over the soundsystem, Rozalla maybe, it was hard to tell. "Scream if you want to go faster!" Jonny shouted above the din, so of course we did. And the kid with the furry upper lip and biro tattoos duly obliged, the car rotating into oblivion until I was so dizzy I felt sick.

Ransom Note fave Timothy Clerkin has remixed Queen, the latest single from the feminist pop duo Seagoth, which was released on Bytes on June 10. The Manchester-based producer, DJ and boss of Insult to Injury Records has taken Queen on a trip to the free party scene of 1992, with echoes of the Prodigy and old-school rave anthems in the thunderous breakbeats and day-glo melodies.

The glittering glam-rock original was written and produced by 20-year-old Georgia Ochoa (guitarist/lead vocals) in her bedroom at home in Cheshire. Exhausted by the inequality of the sexes, but also fuelled to instigate change, Ochoa wrote this song to highlight the effects of modern day misogyny.

Funboys is the musical partnership of Audun and a.d.a.m. baby, ably assisted by Poodfy. The three have their roots in club scenes spanning more than three decades, stretching from Oslo and Antwerp, ending up on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The Apparatuses EP is a collection oddball jams blending hardware and organic instrumentation. The result is refreshingly left-of-centre, showcasing the trio’s bent take on somewhat danceable music.

Was inspired by the spirit of experimentation and old-fashioned laboratory equipment as seen on Australian television last century, courtesy of the late great Professor Julius Sumner Miller. His immortal question, burned into the brains of his young viewers, was always "Why Is It So?"
The practical execution involved an Adrenaline (a recent product from the inventor of the modern-day drum machine, Roger Linn), playing tug-o-war with a Devilfish, a mutant of that essential dancefloor engine, the Roland TB-303.

Take Me To The Cleaners

is based on the rather frankly disturbing 1965 Japanese art-house film "Black Snow", now almost impossible to find, but for which its director was actually arrested and tried. He was acquitted and went on to become known as the "Father Of Pink" films. In a satanic twist, under the demented synthetic orchestration and dub basslines, dialogue samples from the actual film have been spun in backwards.

Step Down

In 1976 when Bowie was making inquiries as just how enthusiastic Tony Visconti might be in regards to helping make his next record, "Low", he received the response "I've got just the thing we need! There's this new machine I've been testing that fucks with the fabric of time!!"
The machine Visconti was referring to was the Eventide Harmonizer, and it stamped a unique sonic character on that album that artists are still in awe of today.
Here it can be heard twisting the journey of a group of young spelunkers that are literally 'stepping down to the underground' for the very first time. The backdrop to this subterranean adventure is an evolving loop of raw acid from an ancient mini Korg 700, Korg's very first synthesizer from 1973.

Crackin' Bones

As its skeleton, a rhythm derived from the Bossa Nova crossed and braced with the Bolero. Over these bones are the flesh of gated noise bursts, ecstatic xylophones, Hollywood sound effects and "more cowbell"…

JG Outsider is not a newcomer in Electronic music. This veteran producer from Murcia has a long career that began in the 90s with the management of the Pink Records label, and continued as half of the duo "2rare People", which achieved great success in the 2000s, being strongly supported by artists such as Oxia or Carl Cox. Today he uses this new alias to produce music halfway between the most acid Indie Dance, Industrial, sometimes entering the melodic field.

‘’Thousand Springs’’ is a warm-hearted EP from Munich producer San Quentin featuring 3 tracks outfitted for vibrant summer gatherings including a remix from psychedelic Trance extraordinaire Anatolian Weapons. In his latest transmissions San Quentin summons utopian skies and tripped sunsets with his tracks “Milfontes” and the more punchy “Der Grottenolm”. “Milfontes” features flanged out cosmic breaks, bubbly Arp sequences, and heartfelt fluttering pads. It’s packed with emotion and oozes optimism and positivity. “Der Grottenolm” first gives off dusty old Roland sounds with its 909 and 707 drums and a dark saw bass line later contrasting with a joyful organ straight from early-proghouse heaven. Brooklyn, NY - Written, recorded and mixed by Dynoman in Brooklyn, New York, AGILITY E.P. is an exciting new club focused release comprising of 4 tracks each with their own distinct character influenced by his musings in the club. The 4 track E.P. was mastered by Brooklyn based Swaya and the album art was created by Karachi based Samya Arif. Each of the tracks have their own vibe and play into the club/breaks genre. On Jaldi, Dynoman returns to his Pakistani roots, deconstructing tabla and programming a beautifully crafted Santoor melody, juxtaposing those traditional so unds against heavy sub basslines and an infectious club beat.
