Melodic Motion sees Martin Matiske use his machines in a new way. Across four tracks, the German musician inspires. “Digital Emotion” is built on crisp drum patterns, patterns from which Matiske arcs rich analogue notes. Vocals, employed almost like samples, give a human quality to this future-world vision. Technology is a central theme of the EP. Human qualities melt in robotic currents in “Computer Dance,” colder electro tones merging with warm and cheer-filled videogame echoes. “Information Product” maintains some of the electro character of its predecessor. Yet this is far from a dark piece, its uplifting piano keys surging with optimism. The icier tones of “Transmission” closes. Warm arpeggios rise against a front of crystalline chords in this final foray into this ever-so-close world of tomorrow.

A short visit to the Indochinese Peninsula at the wrong time of the global pandemic breakout, led Ian Richter to over a year and a half of living in Vietnam, and to a deep love affair with the Vietnamese folk religion. Ian was intrigued to find a place drenched in culture and mysticism existing hand in hand with hyper capitalism (yet officially committed to socialism).

Over the course of the last 18 month Ian recorded, mentally and physically, the sounds of his encounters and experiences. From daily life, through industrial and natural landscapes, to ancient and modern dance, forging foreign with familiar, mysticism with science, and claustrophobia with liberation.

We have something special for our next release. Mickey Dagger, who previously released a track on our Spiral compilation, sent us a whole EP jam-packed with incredible remixes.

For his cover of the ‘80s kitsch track "I Want To Be A Cowboy,” he adds his signature dark and slightly sarcastic spin.
On the remix side, we have Antoni Maiovvi, who did a big room mix, Thomas Von Party, who made a breaky one, Ortrotasce, who contributed an old-school industrial/EBM version, and label head Facets, who was convinced by Mickey to provide his own take.

All the proceeds will be going to ISKWEU Project an indigenous women's shelter in Canada.

This series is dedicated to bringing together like-minded artists with a genuine fondness for probing the uncharted worlds between genre boundaries.

Curated with great care by label-head Letherique, this second opus digs deeper into the darker path previously set. Blissfully blending our notorious cinematic touch with a wide array of styles, Nebula Aranea #2 ranges from thundering Electro Body Music to languorous Darkwave and otherworldly experimentations.

Growing the Ursa family further, we’re proud to yet again welcome artists from very distinctive horizons:

· Arabian Panther and Frust (aka Blind Delon) from the boiling and ever-surprising Toulouse scene.

· The tenebrous dark madonna Lady Maru and Raw Culture’s maestro Asymmetrical from Roma.

Intriguing electronic duo Pola Women land on Rework’s Exlove label with a fantastic new six track EP. This duo is made up of Desiree Lune alongside Michel Kuebler, a pair who are split between Berlin and Stuttgart and are inspired by the aesthetics of 80s disco and cinema. Desiree is a singer and writer working on various different projects while studying art at the Kunstakademie Stuttgart. She is used to performing on stage and links here with Michel Kuebler, who is part of electronic bands Rework and She Lies and is adept at crafting synth-based songs and innovative drum machine loops. As Pola Women, the pair create manic rhythms and explore pulsing, immersive sound worlds that combine new wave synthscapes with a signature krautrock beat.
