Kalexis & Paulor return to Riotvan one year after their initial appearance with their „In Between EP' inviting a fresh spectrum of global talent to reimagine their cosmic soundscapes. The release, arriving digitally on December 13th, features remixes by Skelesys, label head Peter Invasion Gregor Habicht, and Mala Ika who are adding fresh energy and creative depth to the originals. The trio of remixes delves deep into the auditory core of „In Between' whith each artist introducing their own flair while respecting the integrity of Kalexis & Paulor's initial work. From industrial rhythms to bright, disco-tinged atmospheres, each reinterpretation expands the EP's original ambiance into new territory. Going Through The Void (Skelesys Remix) The EP's atmospheric opener with only bass guitar driving its rhythm, receives a darker, pulsating treatment from Skelesys. Introducing a kick, electric guitar, and sharper snare, Skelesys amplifies the track's heartbeat, weaving in Berlin's raw edge with South American intensity. At 105 BPM, this version brings a steady structure while remaining faithful to the mystique of the original. Lashes (Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht Remix) Peter Invasion and Gregor Habicht take the hypnotic, distortion-heavy 'Lashes' to chaotic new heights. Layered with arpeggiated sounds their remix adds a structured dynamism that contrasts yet complements the track's underlying turbulence. The result is a chaotic harmony, capturing the track's essence while expanding its auditory impact. Energy (Mala Ika Remix) Taking inspiration from In Between's standout dancefloor gem 'Energy,' Paris-based Mala Ika channels Kraftwerk-like vibes with an elevated pitch and vocal stabs that infuse a lighter, almost disco feel. We’re happy to cordially invite you to the Regression Session, hosted by eternal Philadelphia scene flag bearers @zillasonacid ! And if you think this sounds awfully lot like a scam, you’re probably right: „Regression Session“ is just a front of their illegal black market operation, trading raw uncut gems on a large scale. Just listen to the opener and title track and you won’t exactly have a strong case for the Zillas selling out, but rough as it is, this thing is capable of destroying any dancefloor it touches. Looking at their recent releases it’s fair to say the Z’s are on quite a run, putting out music on labels like Permanent Vacation, Throne Of Blood, Multi Culti or Ivan Smagghe’s Disques de la Mort. Tunes like the sneaky rough slow burners „Underling“ or „Start Digging“ sound like they could be lifted from the latter’s infamous DJ sets, while the deceptively titled „Cha Cha Cha“ or closer „Casual Observer“ justify the „Acid“ in the artist name. „Shining Snakes Across The Lake“ is what some years might have been called a mid-tempo house roller and probably counts as downtempo these days. Speaking of tempos, the penultimate „Sweet Days Of Discipline“ starts of masquerading as reaaally downtempo, but ends up throwing 155bpm kick drums at you, so better watch out, all you k-hole ravers! Let’s not forget to talk about „bquiet“, which is what you’d call mid-tempo house these days (125bpm) and uses the eternally banging combination of a jacking beat, a polyrhythmic bass line, some lead-synth stabs and talking vocal slices. You can practically smell the sweat. So what’s left to say? What you see is what you get: They are Zillas, and they are on Acid. And they provide a collection of eight tunes that probably each don’t necessarily have a double-digit amount of tracks in their DAW projects, and that’s exactly what makes them so forceful. She looked up nervously each time the restaurant door swung open, half hoping he might not show up to avoid the initial awkwardness and subsequent small talk. A couple of bad dates had thrown her off and left her wondering how many more she could endure before swearing off them for good. Tearing her gaze away from the door and towards the clock she became lost in her thoughts for a moment, thinking of the possible suitor who'd soon greet her. Her expectations weren't that high, all she hoped for was easy and organic conversation, and a nice smile wouldn't go miss... 

For their ninth release, following recent instalments from Theus Mago and Moderna, Diego Montiel and Persona, Barcelona-based party crew and label Side UP Works welcome Argetinian producer Javier Ferreira for a three tracker of acid-tinged grooves. On the flip Cardopusher and Calypso Records boss Thomass Jackson step up to rework the originals, with the latter morphing title track 'Organic Time' into a hypnotic driving cut.

Despite the fact that Avacha is based in the northwestern administrative district, actually it is based on the entire surface of the Russian Federation and sometimes beyond its borders. From the Far East to the outskirts of the European part of the map, the geography of Avacha residents is as wide as our country is and the music tastes are wide, specific and heterogeneous like the landscape of the Black Earth Region, the peaks of the Urals or the bottom of Lake Baikal.

On September 19, Avacha releases the “999% HITS” compilation. 8 tracks by domestic and not very domestic producers are designed to show the adequate side of contemporary music from Russia and the surrounding territories. The list of artists easily converts to the line-up of the best outsiders and underdogs festival.

Volta Cab opens the VA with an ethnic banger “Vertical Monopoly”, followed by duo Wolfstream and their Middle Eastern rockabilly track “Doctor Doctor”, then comes Alexei Kryuk's alter ego Bogdan who performs a nine-minute jam-passage “Drunken Swagga”, and Radial Gaze closes the dance question with the merciless "Micky, Licky Or Chicky". Conventional side B begins with a track with the self-explanatory title “It Was A Remix” from Panorama Channel, which will work easily both on the radio and on the dance floor, then Soft Metal calls upon all forces to break the disco with the hit “Humanism”, White Magik with its “Darkness” shows how disco sounds, mating with industrial under euphoretics. The wandering gang, Olta Karawane, ends with the song “Romanian Erotic Tradition”, which encourages all kinds of joy.
