Malleable have been deep in the lab coding a homebrew multiplayer midi sequencer to use at the heart of their improvised live shows. Through this process of experimentation while developing their live act the two brothers have put together an EP running the gamut of dreamy after-hour vibes to synthy house-cuts featuring remixes from Johannes Klingebiel (some record label names) and claptrap label-boss Vanity Project. 

Throughout Lockdown Malleable have used their monthly shows on Threads Radio to give a platform to artists they work and play with, and have been working with Lighting Technician Rob Lovelites to create live sets with generative light shows.

Tracklist

A1: “Fits in the Lift” - opens the EP with a dreamy pads and sunkissed e-piano soundscape building to a pumping and wobbly synth reminiscent of wavy sunset beach parties.

A2: “Fits in the Lift” (Johannes Klingebiel Remix) - Klingebiel puts a thoughtful, building slant on “Fits in the Lift” as he takes it to new heights with euphoric house piano stabs.

B1: “Zaken Doen” - Featuring SF based harpist Lucinda Belle, this malleable collaboration has a pensive afterhour sound with rising ambience leading down a glitchy rabbit hole of cutup harp, broken chimes and percussive bass.

B2 “Zaken Doen” (Vanity Project Remix) - Label Boss Vanity Project brings a signature Claptrap sound to his take on Zaken Doen. Getting down to business with a Eurobass chord progression and a dance floor moving stomp
