Holly Lester’s Duality Trax imprint continues its mission to find balance within the music industry by bridging gender gaps and pushing the boundaries of contemporary club music. The next release sees the label's second VA come to fruition, focusing on six emerging and established artists that are all making their mark within their respective cities and beyond. 

Glasgow hero and resident of dance music institution Sub Club Stevie Cox opens things up on her first ever solo release, easing us gently in with a hypnotizing mesh of ethereal synths and dynamic drum programming, akin to the carefully constructed sets she has become known and loved for. Stones Taro, a pioneering force behind Kyoto's evolving electronic scene, brings his signature touch to ‘Iron Door’ and smoothly bridges the gap between UKG, breaks and house before rising Aussie producer DAWS serves a nostalgic blend of dreamy chords, jacking percussion and bumping bass. Up next, sample king Gallegos turns in a raw and crunchy acid workout that is sure to raise the roof with adrenaline inducing risers aplenty.

The VA takes a trippy left turn with Planet Euphorique and Craigie Knowes affiliate emkay, in a perception altering display of warping synths, shimmering gated vocals and loose drum patterns before rising star Body Clinic rounds things off. Fusing DnB and prog  in ‘159 Revolutions Per Minute’ against a futuristic backdrop, the young Northern Irish producer perfectly demonstrates the interwoven themes and concepts that the label seeks to platform. 

100% of compilation profits will be donated to Palestine Children's Relief Fund. 

Visions Vol. 2 will be available to buy digitally from December 8th, 2023.

Premiere: DJ Merlin - Guminis

This album is compiled by by ‘A friend of mine’ aka A.F.O.M. International & supported by Sameheads Berlin
to raise funds for the survivors of the February 2023 earthquakes in South East Turkey/Syria
and to provide some sonic experiences to the mere listeners.

Thanks to the generosity of all participating artists and the contributors, 100% of the income,
generated from the sales of this album and the tracks within will be donated to Angel's Farm Sanctuary
which operate at the affected area to restore life and hope.
 
Turkey and Syria were struck by two massive earthquakes of Mw 7,8 and Mw 7,6 on 6th of February 2023.
Being one of the deadliest natural disasters in modern history,
the earthquakes affected 11 cities in the region, with a death toll reaching more than 57.000,
more than 110.000 injured and over 500.000 buildings being collapsed or heavily damaged. 
 
Urgent support for the rescue and relief efforts brought to the area, included 60,000-strong search-and-
rescue forces, 5,000 health workers, 30,000 volunteers, and more than 141,000 people from 94 countries.
This followed by numerous wide-ranging fund-raising campaigns with donations from companies,
institutions, organizations, and individuals.
 However, with an estimated damage over US$110 billion,
it is obvious that the recovery process for the region and the victims will be lengthy.
 
As the dust settles and the buzz slowly dissolves 8 months after this disastrous incident,
we believe that it is the right time for releasing this compilation,
not only to raise funds for the ones in need,
but also to raise the fading awareness about the situation in trhe region of Sout-east Turkey and Syria.

Our 9th release features artists from around the world, each bringing their unique vision to the table. Their creativity has been a driving force for us, shaping our musical exploration. This compilation offers a genuine narrative from each artist, and we're excited to showcase their work.

Some of our DJ friends are part of the Port Frankivsk voluntary organisation, dedicating themselves to volunteering from the beginning of the war. We appreciate their commitment and we're standing with all Ukrainians during these tough times. To help out, we've decided to donate all the proceeds from this compilation to Port Frankivsk.

The sea breeze caressed the sails as vessels set their course toward the mystical shores of Valinor. Guided by the whispers of the ocean and the wings of swift seagulls, the ships departed from the harbour. Enamoured by the vibrant palette of colours and sounds, the sailors found themselves surrounded by flocks of swift seagulls. The birds' feathers glistened in the rays of the setting sun, foreshadowing a clear and calm night of sailing to faraway lands.

Originally from Paris, Pierre LX started DJing as part of the Brazilian electro scene of the early 2000s. He then moved to London where he studied film and worked as a studio engineer, soon scoring a minor club hit with his debut release 'Madeleine' on Initial Cuts.

By the turn of the next decade, having established himself as a regular fixture behind the decks of such legendary clubs as T Bar and fabric, Pierre released his album 'Out 1' to critical acclaim. He later relocated to Warsaw to study and teach philosophy, eventually becoming a honorary member of the famed Brutaż crew.

In recent years, alongside his ongoing academic research, Pierre has been running workshops for students in Nice where he is currently based. His new album 'Loyal & True', which collects tracks recorded live over the past fifteen years, is out now on Laral Tapes.
