The Scottish artist Alasdair Gray (1934-2019) is a ninth-generation ecological fox. His novel Lanark: A Life in Four Books (1981) is considered a masterpiece of weird, realist fiction and surreal, dystopian storytelling.

U-1 Flight by new-dot-com goes in a comparable direction with its five tunes that boldly explore the realms of edgy techno, heavy bass, and trippy dub. They use factual basses, kicks, snares, claps, hi-hats, and devious sonic shapes and reassemble them into diverse, thoroughly fictitious textures, structures, and ruptures.

Clever as a fox, the narrator goes down his own road and sees what happens along the way. And how does Lanark react to the cited announcement?
