Everything that’s happening right now in Australia is terrifying... With so much loss already, increasingly dangerous weather conditions and a useless government there is a lingering feeling of sadness and anxiety in all of us now and for the days to come. Inspired by the ways of others I have decided to use my music as a way to help. Against The Flames consists of 4 unreleased tracks with 100% of the profits going towards the ‘Fire Relief Fund for the First Nations Communities’. Stay safe and to those who can please continue to donate to those who need it.

- refurbishment of damaged property where applicable 

- resettling expenses where applicable 

- ongoing rental support where necessary 

- replacement of vital items i.e damaged medical equipment, clothing, toiletries, other vital personal belongings."

For this 113th Premiere of 2020, we have a track from the Italian electronic music producer from Rome "Composite Profuse" (aka Valerio Lombardozzi aka Heinrich Dressel) from his upcoming EP "North Electric Mist" [OR-004] on the Record Label from Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands founded by the members of Venderstrooik in 2019 : Onrijn Records.

The track we chose to premiere is the Remix by the Rotterdam-based duo "Animistic Beliefs" from ‘North Electric Mist’.

Composite Profuse (Bunker Records, Minimal Rome) guides you through the fog on his new EP “North Electric Mist” on Onrijn Records.

The A-side gives you a trilogy of cold, melancholic and haunting electronic tracks that completes a musical journey through the Mist that plays in your head.

On the flip side, we have Animistic Beliefs that delivers a fantastic remix of “North Electric Mist”. Their snappy baseline in combination with the aggressive synth lets every club visitor be on his toes and wanting for more.

The EP ends with “A Blink of Hope into the Fog” and that’s exactly what it sounds like. A feel-good ambient piece which is the perfect conclusion to this EP.

Special times, special release : our six producers are finally reunited in this third output of our Crysta Ampullaris series. Ayuji, Shonen Bat, Slowglide, Nigm, Indigo Persona and Lebird are gracing us with some of their best lockdown creations. As always, these tracks display their mutual roots as much as their individual visions of electronic music.

First, trancethusiast Ayuji takes us on an underwater journey to the lost continent : bright pads turning into epic acid lines as we’re going faster and faster through the ocean’s fauna and flora. Post-fluokid Shonen Bat switches on to ‘Memorigram’, an optimistic solarpunk bass-rolling track that suddenly gets a more contrasted and melancholic mood when the chords appear. Slowglide’s video games hermitage finally paid off, as he invites us with ‘Myst’ to a deep, bass-fueled VR trip through a self-generated jungle full of noises and glitches.

Sound-sculptor Nigm found the perfect balance between deep atmospheres and hard-hitting percussions. Built like a kind of mantra, ‘Toward Brighter Days’ slowly turns into a message of hope for the near future. Goldsmith Indigo Persona blew our minds with ‘Reality’, a DnB-infused IDM gem that showcases his stunning skills for sound design, deep textures and rhythmic twists. Last but not least, crazy scientist Lebird delivers a wistful jungle tune : surgically-precise breakbeats, heavy subs and modern tones melt together in this future-proof piece.

Bucharest born Vienna based artist dot13 has been working hard in his studio lately and will shortly be releasing his ‘Nightcrawler’ EP on the newly minted label Into The Wizards Sleeve.

So, while you are waiting for this release to drop dot13 has crafted this intricately detailed re-imagination of Sugar Hill Gang’s seminal ‘Rapper’s Delight’. Featuring samples of the original vocal but warped and pitched in order to bed nicely with the rolling bassline, panning synths, and skipping percussion of this cerebral funk take on one of the most influential hip-hop tracks of all time. Expect this to be filed under 'secret weapon' in some of the scenes top minimal selectors’ USB’s.
