Team AEON is thrilled to announce the 5th edition of the Lost Tapes series where music of family members and newbies come together in one release.
The compilation will be released in 2 parts. As a subscriber and family member, you’ll get the full VA compilation including all 13 tracks in advance, exclusively!

Part 1:
We kick off the first part with a special: Italian artist Fabrizio Mammarella (one half of Black Spuma - with Lauer), who’s also well known for his skills as a remixer, releases his first solo track „Compumemory“ on AEON.
The young gun from Italy Amarcord is a true AEON family member now. His previous contributions are followed up with a punchy weapon called, „Momentum“.
We are also happy to welcome back our mysterious producer Futuristant with a nostalgic track in style and meaning „Before I miss you“. And Omri Smader with his hypnotic Italo club track „Seger Peger“, who’s latest releases on Blue Shadow & Correspondant caught a lot of attention.
These two are followed by contributions from two debutants. Berlin’s Parla (‘Permanent Vacation’), who’s bringing the early morning/afterhour burner „A World in Purple“ and Felkon from Germany with the clubby Italo shaker „Lytis“.
Last but not least, Silicodisco returns to AEON with a collaboration with DPAZ and created the retro, melodic, dark Italo dance track „Hellish Night“. A track that characterizes the both of them and the perfect track to welcome you to the second part of the Lost Tapes Vol. 5.

Part 2:
Following up on his successfull releases on Gerd Janson’s ‘Running Back’ and his latest EP on DJ Tennis’s label ‘Life & Death’, Alan Dixon kicks off part two with „Space Manoeuvres“.
AEON newbie Alex Virgo brings the Spring vibes with the happy track „Clown Car“.
After Machinegewehr’s well received „Nutant EP“ (AEON054), the Rotterdammer returns with another trippy Italo monster „Call the shots“.
Having already done a remix for „Serpentine“ by Darlyn Vlys, Micropacer is not new to the camp anymore. And we are happy to have him on board with his first solo track „The Magic Number“ on AEON.
Musumeci doesn’t need an introduction anymore. The Italian made his way in the industry with several hit remixes and solo productions on his own imprint „Multinotes“ (with Lehar) or „Permanent Vacation“, after being one of the first remixers on AEON almost a decade ago. His collaboration with Aldebaran on „Escamotage“ will stay in your ears for a while.
Hailing from Jakarta the 4th newbie Past Futura closes this 13 tracker VA with his „Viva La Discoteque“, which we couldn’t think of a better closing title in these difficult times.

Stunning new package with a deep, melodic and belearic minded nu disco track by Maria Basanov and remixes from Ilya Santana (Balihu), who adds some strings for that special kind of magic.

We are locked-in on the new collaboration of Vleks and Chinosynth. While the first has been in the family since the release of "Freakin Alone", the latter is a very welcome new addition. Together, the two producers show why they are taking by storm the local scene, and give you another taste of the Mexican Wave.

The single explores Dark Disco through a very warm sound design, led by guitars and distorted vocals. Closing the Mexican triangle, Technicism joins the release on ultra serious remix duties. Both versions are energetic, and aimed for club use.

"Atrapado" is the first release of Inner Shah in 2024, and is now available soon on all platforms.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Ceefax transmission in September 1974.

Ceefax was the world's first teletext information service and a forerunner to the current BBC Red Button service. Ceefax was started by the BBC in 1974 and ended, after 38 years of broadcasting, at 23:32:19 BST (11:32 PM BST) on 23 October 2012.

To receive a desired page of text on a teletext-capable receiver, the user entered a three-digit page number on the device. The selected page was displayed on the user's screen as it was transmitted, requiring a wait of several seconds. There were many pages to choose from, and they could be displayed either on a black background or superimposed over the broadcast programme picture. This latter feature made it technically possible for the first time for British broadcasters to transmit subtitles that could be turned on or off by the viewer, rather than as part of the broadcast image.

Aside from the initial shrieks of fear and sounds of manly men mocking those of us that may have got a wee bit too scared, what really goes on in the air around us when the lights go off? While we can never be entirely sure, we reckon it's the ghostly sounds of phantoms filling the air, carelessly ringing any bells that may be in their path as they float around the room in a state of determination - looking to scare the living daylights out of us.

It's not quite the same as just closing your eyes, a darkened room can instil a fear within us so strong that we may even freeze in our tracks and be unable to shift for about... Well, for just about the same length as this new track from Nova Materia. Coincidence? We think not.

This wasn’t a song directly about Brexit, but it was being written going into the vote in the UK.  At the same time, debates were taking place in the USA about Donald Trump’s potential leadership campaign to be President.

I’ve always had a fascination with political ideas and how they shape the messages that are given to us.  Clearer, throughout history, there are those who have seized upon a given set of circumstances and had the ability to persuade others about the path to follow, sometimes for good and other times with extreme consequences.

The lyrics reflect a feeling that traditional politics are slowly being rejected, but it’s not certain what will replace them.  It’s not supposed to be pessimistic, but asks the question about what comes next – and whether we are headed towards a time that makes it more likely that those with more extreme ideologies will capture the hearts and minds of more and more people.

A shadowy twin-peaks kind of sound is persistent throughout the whole release, and the remix by Iñigo Vontier only extends the already dark atmosphere to the basement dance-floor, inviting all the right people to join in! You Were My Eraser (demo)

Melbourne Industrial/EBM scene representative, master mind behind Power Station/Power Cuts Kris Baha, contributes to Berlin based imprint Cocktail d’Amore with “Autora”. 
Intensely disturbed, sleazy and dirty, the title track follows the lead of the most traditional EBM beats. “Autora” barks with distorted oddities perfectly mashed to an involving balance. 
A factory ambiance out in the forest under a starry sky is “Brink Reality”. A slower paced gem for cosmic, stomping dance floors. While the beat-less A3 “Happiness Disaster” could open a scene of Twin Peaks 2999.    
“10Ways” settles with a thundering bolt of crushing steel, bouncing percussions and a vocal worth of Front 242’s legacy. 
Closing the EP on a romantic and sweet note, “Start Over” is an italo/wave hybrid ballad tinged with hope and brightness. 
Arp2600, Dave Smith Poly Evolver/Pro 2, Oberheim Obxa are few of Kris’s partners responsible for this outstanding expression of contemporary music.

B1 - 10 Ways

Temperatures are dropping and we’re all feeling the effects. Bordello A Parigi is letting the cold winds of the north swirl inside its doors with Russia’s Volta Cab bringing a fresh 2LP to the table. A spread of influences come together for the eleven tracks of Rise Again. Take “Emerald’s Phantasy”, a piece built on layers of percussion that blends elements of disco with notes of techno. “Dark Room” is a different affair. Arctic chords are cut with electro and distant vocals for an unsettling treat. “Kruger” stomps to a terse beat before lush pads bloom in a work that builds to dizzying peaks. Warm blasts balance these colder moments, the rich grooves of “Savage Fury”, the floor filling funk of “Board Scandinavia” and the removed romance of “Sweet Exorcist” all show another shade to the Volta Cab sound and of course there’s more. Rise Again is an audio collection of vibrant colours and hues, tracks pitch from icy blues to autumnal ambers and fiery reds; a musical kaleidoscope that stretches across a spectrum of styles.

He does it again. Music architect Das Komplex designed another funky and groovy weapon that combines both: the driving elements to make one float over the dance floor and the chords to make you enjoy the sweet sunrays at the beach. Both being so intense that the track swiftly beams you not exclusively into different settings on 'dance floor earth' but with its tonal chord sequences lets one experience zero gravity in a different galaxy. As part of RSS Disco run label Mireia Records and their We'll Sea-series, Galaxy is one out of four tracks the trio signed for their various artists series, each carefully chosen and thoughfully compiled to an EP, the listener is beautifully guided through the different musical takes and precisely to Das Komplex's nine and a half minutes of a Galaxy.
