Highly influenced by early 1980’s electronic music and classic 90's trance, Emilio Van Rijsel from Lille, France, debuts on Italo Moderni with energetic Moroder-esque propelling bass lines next to epic synth patterns and hypnotic sounds. With “Tendre Furie EP”, Emlio van Rijsel offers a glimpse of the wide array of his influences, embarking us on a synthful romantic & melancholic journey, depicting the nostalgia of missed blissful raving nights. Without a doubt, Italo Moderni bets on this great artist who has a very promising future on the dancefloors.
Remixes duties fall to Raw Union man St. Theodore, who replaces those italo trance flourishes with the strobe-lit pulse of Giallo and master producer Daniel Monaco the layers of well-informed 80s synth wave sends us into another dimension with high energy vibes.

Russian producer Rambal Cochet aka Volta Cab, an artist very much influenced by Goa Trance brings three new tracks with a sound that captivates us to that time, adding New Beat and EBM waves close to 'Valencia Sound' and its legendary 'Ruta Destroy'. The record includes an absolute banger: a Kris Baha remix to burn the dancefloor, as usual.

The Artist Concurrently Known As Jackmate has been already been indoctrinated into our cult since he signed onto he Pampa bookings roster awhile back. As SoulPhiction he is also co-founder of Philpot, the Stuttgart-based label, home to the majority of his releases over the past 10+ years. Anyway, we get the privilege of stamping the Turkey logo on SoulPhiction's first proper release of 2013, following his remixes for Murat Tepeli and Detroit Swindle. 'When Radio Was Boss' is a tribute to those magical electromagnetic waves that ruled yesteryear. With that prototypical Pampa percussion-rattling and clanking its way into the room-and a warm, round bassline bounce combined with some symphonic froth in the atmosphere, this track definitely demands airplay. On the dancefloor, at least! (And right in the middle of the track, catch the pleasantly jarring shout-out from WBAU, the call sign of the defunct New York radio station that counted members of Public Enemy and hosts of Yo! MTV Raps amongst its staff.) On the flip, the bpm gets cranked down just a bit for 'Maybachswagger"-If the A-side is a tribute to radio, the B has roller-skating on its mind. Starting out spooky with a sampled voice cooing over a slightly detuned bassline, the surprise comes in the final third, when a kawaii disco vibe drops in, seducing you onto the rink for a few laid-back laps.

Fire was once stolen from the Gods, taken from their grasp to serve the needs of humankind—mastered to bring light into our darkest spaces. But to steal from the Gods their very emotions, to feel what they feel…what burning pleasures might that provide?

WIE EIN GOTT seeks to answer that question in the form of the most fire underground music it can bring together under one digital temple roof. The odyssey of Johannes Stabel, the Berlin label was forged within the crucible of Stabel’s collaborative work on his own musical venture XTR HUMAN. To craft such a body-jacking synthesis of gothic atmosphere and dance energy, he was brought into the company of a host of producers, artists and dark-minded individuals. Each burned as brightly as he for that perfect and eternal emotional transcendence to be found within the club, that rising swell from within that seems torn from the breast of Heaven itself.

The first champion to emerge from the gates of WIE EIN GOTT strides forth blazing, a compendium of aural might inspired by the very Gods from which it draws energy. It’s quiver is filled with a rain of hand-selected EBM arrows forged not only for their concussive power, but also to inspire that rush of heroic mental fortitude. Each of the nine tracks bring a different strength, summoning to the dance floor electronic evocations as blackened as the shores of Erebus, as driving as the hips of Phanes.

The opening volley by London’s OLIVER gets down to business immediately with concussive blasts of bass and a synthline to send your courage soaring, before being launched into the night sky with pulsating Tech Noir from Saint-Petersberg’s Rudiment. UNCONSCIOUS peels back the veil of reality to expose the raw beating heart of Chronos, the Milan producer twisting time with a searing cut that evokes the crystallized Now as much as the nostalgic throb of days past. Summoning the icy majesty of figures from his Greek heritage, Alpha Sect’s orbital hammer falls with glacial irrevocability, opening the gates of Hades for a consciousness- shattering purgatorial descent with Berlin’s Clarissa.
Formed from these mental shards, the razor-sharp blades of Parisian doom machine Termination_800 bring pure automated apocalypse in under six minutes. As the heralds of Swærm ravage the plains, heeding the incessant cry of synthetic death, the warped shrieks give way to the horns of Thanatos. This is the crushing weight of Endless Nothing, the metal-minded Italian berserker sent to burn the celestial palaces, to bring the Gods to their knees—to become as Gods, in that moment of transcendence. Descending from Olympus, prize in hand and heart, XTR HUMAN sings the final cry of triumph, a gleaming celebration of our Humanity and—however brief—of shared Godhood found in the throbbing fires of the dance floor.

The artist is back on the label with their new EP 'The Arm Remixes'. The EP features remixes from Commuter, Federico Leocata, Vondkreistan and fresh underwater mix from nerve master Moralez. 

From the start, 'Temple of Light (https://soundcloud.com/commuter Remix)’ provides high energy, electrostatics and hyper-realistic experience in your mind. Analog rhythms, atmospheres (similar sounds you could hear in the 'Duran Duran’ 1st album)  and unconventional dance electronics here. Great remix from italo to wave, EBM to electro. French DJ and producer Laurent Paranthoën aka Commuter not a beginner and his works always great. This is confirmed by releases on Cultivated Electronics (together with The Hacker), Bass Agenda, Elektrofon, Skryptöm and others specialized labels. Recommended for italo and electro friends.

Revolt presents his debut release on X-IMG titled “Splintered Dreams” featuring five highly finessed original tracks alongside five equally flawless remixes from some of the finest producers of the dark electronic underground including Autumns, Notausgang, Imperial Black Unit, Incendie & Endless Nothing. The young Warsaw based producer originally hails from Lviv, Ukraine and has been making waves recently within that niche but tightly knit scene, as well as in the wider dark electronics world as a whole. Revolt, real name Andrii, is also a resident of the Lviv based Zabuttya (Oblivion) collective. “Splintered Dreams” stands out as a finely tuned and evocative collection of original tracks only to be followed up by masterful remixes that breathe new life into each of Revolt’s pieces.

The title track “Splintered Dreams” is unlocked now with the full release going live on Bandcamp December 6th and all other platforms shortly after.

Skatebård (aka Bård Aasen Lødemel) is warmly welcomed back to the Bordello, and LYO too as we had a nice mix from him few weeks ago ! Following 2013´s Love in the Night comes a 12” of quite a different hue. Colour Negatives collects three brand new tracks from the Digitalo founder. The late night rave funk session of “Fujicolor Pro 400H” spikes and spins on beams of concentrated energy. Those same infectious hooks dawn into the flip. “Agfachrome RSX II” premiered here, is bright, clean and joy filled ; Skatebård delivering pure goodness to nurture any bodies beginning to flag. Paranoia and the break of day enters with “Kodak Portra 800”, a minimal two stepping demon that cuts like vinegar. Shape shifting synthesizer sounds from an artist who simply ignores genres.

Here's a track that has been sitting on my computer for a while, which I finally decided to give it a go and eventually release.
This track is filled with nostalgia yet it gives me hope, as if you stared deep into the past, to fully embrace it afterwards. Then you're looking back again at the future, this time with confidence, towards what awaits you. I find it very optimistic in a way.
I chose "Rising Star" as title because of the nostalgia that erodes slowly throughout the track to give room gradually to hope when first felt. I can only wish my vision and the emotion of the track will raise something in you
