The winter's almost gone and Luettje Luise's Mama comes out of hibernation. With a new playground at home, it will take a talented hand to prepare for the upcoming spring. Along comes @Nutia, sowing his seeds of ‘Raounuor’.

‘Fischbahn’ (A1) is a decent wake up call for the early birds facing their way back north to the deep woods of ‘Schweden’ (A2). Here, Nutia serenades those old inhabitants with a rattling melody, and sends them on their way with heads still light. ‘Em Pessoa’ (B1) tinkles on the flipside: a lullaby of constant perpetuation, which echoes its way through the mesmerising labyrinth of trees and bushes, only to be heard by the lonesome @Deer (B2), who answers with the most gentle mating call these woods have ever heard.

‘From Outside’ (Digital) the vinyl some unknown voices fly in. One might call them electronic - whatever that could be.

We are thrilled to introduce @johnpatter to the label. The Vilnius-based  DJ / producer brings forth three original tracks, each offering a unique sonic journey into leftfield territory.
Opening the EP is 'The Risk,' a captivating blend of beautiful melodies and a heavy bassline, tailor-made for a peak-time frenzy. Following suit is the title track, 'Uneven Accents,' a breakbeat-driven monster that keeps listeners on their toes with every twist and turn. Rounding off the originals is 'In Front of the Eyes,' a track that slows down the tempo and ventures into deeper, chuggier territories.
In addition to these originals, label head Facets makes a triumphant return with a remix of 'The Risk,' injecting the track with heightened tempo and energy.

'Uneven Accents' is set to be released on May 3rd.

A mad mix from madbliss the very very talented producer. One word I can use to explain this... Destroyed. Had me bumping from the minute it kicked in. Keep up that awesome work; I had to upload this one seeing as he did an EXCEPTIONAL remix of Odesza, and they're killing the music scene right now. I've been to two of their shows (only two in Australia) and they've blown me away both times. Hope to see them here more!

Chicago’s James Curd joins Radio Slave’s REK’D with the 'Warm Welcome’ two-tracker. The title track, ‘Warm Welcome’, is an elegant House cut with loved-up vocal loops, life-aﬃrming melodies and jazzy keys. All of which bring classy, sophisticated good times over a raw, driving beat. The vibes keep flowing on 'Keep It Up', which features Dusty Lee’s funky guitar licks and soulful harmonies over snappy grooves, its rich instrumentation and clever sampling echoing early Disco-House sounds and oozing timeless quality.

"I've been a longtime admirer of Radio Slave, whose remix of my 2004 release Keep It Down on Classic Music Company still stands the test of time. Rekids has always been a label I turn to for inspiration, so it feels full circle to now release Warm Welcome with them. When I stepped into the studio, I had Rekids in mind, pushing myself to craft something with a bit more grit and edge. The tracks came together almost instinctively as if they were writing themselves while I moved through the studio on autopilot. Two new faces on the label with the two-faced eagle! Both artists have been much respected forces on the international club circuit for a while. IDA ENGBERG is best known for her affiliation with Stockholm’s Drumcode and Truesoul labels. For her Speicher debut though, she’s tapping into a quite different sound territory. “Nothing Feels The Same” will go down in history as the first 2 Step track ever released on KOMPAKT EXTRA. It’s as sensual as it’s booming. Definitely one for those late morning hours. With “Pink Monkeys” is an EBM/sawtooth trance amalgamation of the highest order with enough psychedelic headroom for the festival season.

MARCO RESMANN’s deep involvement with the late Berlin club legend Watergate has made him one of the German capital’s beacons of house and techno. Now based in Copenhagen, he balances his days as a designer with nights at local hotspots like Den Anden Side and Jolene while making waves far beyond France. His razor-sharp blends of House, electro, and Italo have taken him around the world, with tours across Asia and South America, as well as memorable Sunday parties at the legendary Concrete in Paris. A dedicated vinyl collector since his early DJing days, Eliott brings an analog warmth and deep musical knowledge to every set.

Over the years, he has played some of the best clubs in the world, including Panorama Bar and Tresor in Berlin, Mitsuki in Tokyo, Macadam in Nantes, and his beloved Rex Club in France. From early releases on Cracki to his standout Schmock EP on Moustache Records, and his recent Long Story Short EP on OOSHA—featuring electro legend DMX Krew on remix duty—he continues to carve his own path with releases on Permanent Vacation and more. His signature sound has found a home on airwaves worldwide, with appearances on Mutant Radio (Tbilisi), Rinse France, and The Lot Radio (NYC).

With Superski, his project alongside Voiski, he’s in full takeover mode following the release of their debut LP, Mondo Moderno, and an electrifying live set. In 2025, Eliott will release a new solo record on Jennifer Cardini’s own Dischi Autunno

TAMTEN, the master storyteller behind the synthesizers, extends his invitation to every curious listener to ponder the same questions that haunt him throughout his peculiar career: what impacts the sound of an era? How are we shaped by what we hear and see? Do we channel our collective feelings of longing and desire for higher purpose in accord or in opposition to major historical and political forces?

On "Wschodnia Fala: The Reimagined Vision of Eastern-European Wave Music" TAMTEN takes us on a kaleidoscopic voyage through a parallel universe where the symbols and echoes of days gone by are so much more than just archived exhibits of nostalgia. Through an array of meticulous, cut & paste rearrangements, the Warsaw-based artist manages to animate yet another fantastic world of "what could be", following his more apocalyptical take on the previous LP.

There is boldness in every aspect of the release. The saga-like story unfolds evoking the excitement of seashore autobahn ride, thrills of long-forgotten discotheque nights, rush of obsessive romance and intriguing, noir-inspired drama of introspection. The analogies between Polish wave music (with nods to Aya RL, Republika, Klaus Mittfoch, Papa Dance or even Bajm) and global disco-era top chart phenomenons like Kraftwerk, Grace Jones, Giorgio Moroder and Duran Duran, could spark hour-long musicology debates. The melodies and harmonies heard on the album resemble compositions everybody knows but also sound completely new and exhilarating, just as western music clips experienced for the first time behind the Iron Curtain and then collected compulsively on VHS tapes. The feeling of the author's frenetic attempt to capture sensations, memories, artifacts and ideas never escapes the listener till the very last minute of the recording.

"Wschodnia Fala" could pass for an eerie, anonymous late 80s lost-and-found cassette mixtape unearthed on any of the Berlin Wall's sides, if it wasn't for its crystal-clear, contemporary production value and the fluent, educated use of samples ranging from bizarre and opaque to deliberately retro-pop-influenced. Those elaborate winks of the eye for those in the know are already TAMTEN's trademark and they reflect his long-standing fascination with the dancefloor anthropology rather than just the dancefloor itself. Even though never leaning towards formulaic, easy-to-mix, club-ready stompers, his ideas are still groovy enough to make anyone move.

The album strives for some sort of unattainable totality - it’s a ticket to a seance, an experience, a rite. It is a chance to time travel and dance with your ancestors in a glass labyrinth on acid or to watch an 80s teenage adventure, coming-of-age, road cruising film in the cinema of your imagination with only a soundtrack provided. A "the best of" CD compilation of hits from a childhood we remember from a different timeline. A comic book sketch, a diary of an archivist, an elegy for the times that never were and a party you wish you could go to right now. The adventure is always different with another listen.

Step in. Close your eyes. Reimagine.

Grid kicks off 2025 with a new 5-track EP from London producer Blank Patrick! The release binds together different aesthetics, with hiphop-derived sounds and vocals as the binder.

Beginning with the darkness and tension of “Cement Bonds to Marble”, the journey gradually lightens with the heavy, deafening subs of “Canine Growing Backwards”. The BPM then picks up on the supercharged, colorful “Gun Dog”, cleverly combining softness with a muscular, sweaty ambience.
