"This is one of those stories that starts with a boy finding a book in a dusty attic. 'Weird Legend' drags you across contrasting seascapes, offering different lighting from song to song. Abundant in field recordings from this former sailor officer's favorite beaches of Crimea, this material has sounds of the sea and ocean as a main inspiration. Both gentle and moist in its melodies and as harsh as techno can get in its beats, D. Yaroslav’s debut takes a strong stance and doesn’t fall out of character. Once again, we are helping the ones in need. Dug Up The Bongo founder reached out to us with this entrancing material to help Kyiv’s humanitarian fund “Grains of Peace”, started by “20ft radio”."

The nomadic life was all they knew, for as long as they could remember they'd moved from place to place, with one eye constantly looking over their shoulder. In this day and age it was impossible to remain undercover; to don a new identity and pitch up somewhere for an extended period of time. No matter where they went, what buses, trains or planes they boarded, eventually they'd be tracked down and there was no knowing what would happen then...

After welcoming PCL to Slow Motion's Wrong Era off shoot back in June, label boss Fabrizio Mammarella makes his return to the parent imprint arm-in-arm with Italian retro-futurist producer Bottin for a brand new project: EYE-BM. The pair were jamming at CIMM studios when the release came to be; it's a melting pot of their combined musical passions. Backed by a remix from Italian synth wave icon Alexander Robotnick, the EP features three original tracks to get your body moving, which blend EBM, electro, Italo disco, cyberpunk and new beat.

Paradise Palms Records is excited to announce the release of the new ambient album "Places I have never been" by The Reverse Engineer. The album takes listeners on a sonic journey through imaginary landscapes and surreal environments. "Places I have never been" is a captivating exploration of half-truths and subjectivity, woven together with field recordings that transport the listener to another world. The Reverse Engineer, locked down in his home studio, tells a mesmerising story of a trip that never happened using recordings from trips that did. The album features 8 tracks and three incredible reworks, each one building upon the previous to create a cohesive and immersive listening experience. The delicate soundscapes and intricate textures showcase The Reverse Engineers skill as a producer and sound designer, creating an ethereal atmosphere that is at once dreamlike and haunting. Its unique blend of reality and fiction provides a refreshing take on the genre, inviting the listener to get lost in a world of sound.

On remixes, three contrasting takes, presenting a musical insight too three different mindsets.

Goodnight Louisa offers a beautiful synth pop take of Bathysphere, soaring lead vocals transform its foundations into the purest ethereal bliss.  
PGP contrasts again with Back in Slow Time, a dance floor break beat belter, with it's core orbiting around a dirty dub moon.
The Reverse Engineer does a loop around in driving dance of 'Against the Bass World.' Transporting you into the back room of Berlin house night, the kind you regretfully have to leave at 5pm next day.

Manfredas' EP 'Pink Industry' - the second release from Ivan Smagghe's new label Les Disques De La Mort - has been getting us all hot under the proverbial collar - it's summer now so less shirts are being worn.

Now, the rather fine Lithuanian producer has gifted us an exclusive remix of Finnish wunderkind Jaakko Eino Kalev for all you lovely R$N-ers to hear.  

Feast your ears on this sublime piece of sunshine-fuelled Finnish pop. Funny how a few solar beams of light outside turn this from glacial to sunshine-fuelled.
