It were as if it had never been there at all. The flickering of static was all that was left behind as he scrolled and jumped between the channels to see if there had been some great and reckless mistake. How could it have just vanished like this? How could an entire network disappear? Where was the precedent for such chaos?

Nobody had ever heard of a missing channel before – they were programmed to remain eternal and to guide viewers through the night. One by one they tuned in to make sure that they were kept safe from the powers above – watching, listening and receiving the stream. Now it was gone, they didn’t know what might follow next…

London based brothers Two Cold are set to release an anticipated new EP on Make A Dance Records. It’s an EP with punchy Electro roots and Rave influences which will definitely do the trick on the dancefloor with clever cuts and chops dotted throughout.

"Neulust," the latest EP from Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge, introduces listeners to the talents of Joshua Gottmanns and Niklas Wandt. Wandt's captivating voice invokes a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of the era when Thorsten Fenslau was active, infusing tracks with poetic recitations. Wandt's drumming harmonizes perfectly with Gottmanns' warm chords and captivating melodies. Together, they debuted on Zurich's Lustpoderosa label with "Neulust," aiming to redefine their musical connection. Their presence in the central European underground scene has been marked by releases on Themes for Great Cities or Bureau B, accompanied by their vintage German Wave sound and lively performances. Regular touring has been part of their journey. "Neulust," recorded with minimal intervention, delves into themes of love, estrangement, and consumerism, blending haunting electro, deep house, NDW, and Euro Dance Elements. The EP signifies a significant stylistic shift and stands as the band's most compelling offering yet in their ongoing musical evolution.

Two Italians step into the Bordello. Both are armed. Their weapons of choice? The synthesizer sounds of italo, new beat and wave. LVCA and Otis have been raised on the sounds of their homeland, adopting its analogue sound while adapting it to their own style. The result is a brooding mix of addictive lines and vocoder fire. “Ritmo Electronico” opens with a steel-edged snare driving smeared synths through the city dusk, robotic lyrics menace this sleazy neon-stained scene of cracked mirrorballs and flaring machines. Listeners are pulled into the underbelly of A Promise In The Cold Night with the murky “Tanzen”. Alex Vincent’s words are shrouded in glitch, bright burbling bars and a clean clap offering a path of light to help the listener navigate their way. The true coldness of the night arrives with the stabbing keys of “Synthesised Emotion”. Through a haze of hi-hats, an electrical smoke of blacks and greys fizz with juddering volts as passions pour through cable and wire. That haze grows thick in the close. Through a mist of distortion, a “Sphere Of Light” penetrates. Pin-pricks of percussion are dowsed in aquatic tones before a syrup of static is poured across proceedings, lost vocals ghost in this fog of bending bodies and forms.

Pienių Matas is an alter ego for ½ of beloved brothers duo Deserted Island. Refreshing breaks and positive melancholy is what makes this EP so special to release on Skalbiankė. We’re always aiming for quality vibes and Matas manages to deliver on every occasion he gets a chance to.

Chauffeur is his fresh work. It appears as an invitation for a ride where he allows us to listen to his explorations through new sounds and rhythms. Novatory and sentimental, he clashed those two opposites and made it to one superb piece.

For over a decade, COHN has been crafting his unique blend of house music. The DJ and producer, from London, combines crisp beats and rich synth lines to ignite speakers and dancefloors with his disco and Italo-infused creations. Now, he arrives at Bordello with a new EP, “Kafka in the Sheets”, featuring four tracks.

The EP kicks off with “Margiela in the Streets”. Driven by a steady snare and a pulsating arpeggiator, a soaring melody of analogue arcs sails skyward.“Balearic Sun” awakens the listener with birdsong and bongos. A relaxing, revitalising and re-energising experience, guiding hearts and minds through an audio oasis of light wind instruments and soothing samples.

The energy ramps up with the powerful “Uptown and Queens.” A HI-NRG-inspired rhythm is set to a steady march, delivering a workout of wry smiles and bold builds. The EP concludes with “Let’s Groove On”, a track that welcomes the dawn. Classic hi-hats and toms are garnished with a low whistle while juddering vocals push the track forward, making it the perfect last dance before sunrise.

Yurk is a dynamic producer and DJ from Puerto Rico, now making waves in Brooklyn's music scene. Blending Latin rhythms with global electronic beats, he has released music with local labels like Mechanical in Queens, NY. As the head of Organized Disorder, Yurk hosts a biweekly radio show, along with an all vinyl monthly Saoco! Party focused on Caribbean and outernational music.
