The Why people dance question was asked for the first time in Lithuania back in 2013 but it gained a worldwide echo in its 8 years of existence. Run by @pauliuskamblevicius with the help of @experimentsserial and a network of collaborators, the online electronic music platform and label keeps its heart open for new friends and treasure finds but its filter tight and deep underground. Julian  is a Mexican DJ and producer based in Cognac, France. His sonic universe navigates between microhouse, deep tech, and minimal, crafting sets where the groove is subtle yet irresistible, and each transition seems to breathe on its own.

Trained for years in private sessions with producer Jossie Telch, Julian has honed a meticulous approach, where detail matters more than spectacle. His music doesn’t seek to impress quickly but to immerse you slowly — like a hypnotic ritual that connects body and mind.

Currently, he’s working on developing his own productions, with the same sensitivity he applies to his sets: enveloping atmospheres, textures that converse, and a pulse that beats beneath the surface. Each session is a carefully crafted journey for those who understand that the dance floor can also be a temple.

With performances in various venues across France, Julian is ready to take his sound to clubs and festivals that value the auditory experience as a living art form.

Julian est un DJ et producteur mexicain basé à Cognac, en France. Son univers sonore navigue entre le microhouse, le deep tech et le minimal, créant des sets où le groove est subtil mais irrésistible, chaque transition semblant respirer d'elle-même.

Formé pendant des années en séances privées avec le producteur Jossie Telch, Julian a sculpté une approche minutieuse, où le détail prime sur le spectacle. Sa musique ne cherche pas à impressionner rapidement, mais à plonger lentement — comme un rituel hypnotique qui connecte le corps et l’esprit.

Actuellement, il travaille sur le développement de ses propres productions, avec la même sensibilité qu’il applique à ses sets : des atmosphères enveloppantes, des textures qui dialoguent et un battement qui pulse sous la surface.
