He is a well known DJ in his country since late 90’s, who has worked as a resident at acclaimed clubs such as Mondo Disko or Sport. 

For Álvaro Madrid is a Rotten City. That’s how he feel it. A city which is struggling to maintain any nightlife and musical momentum, with theatres, cinemas and clubs feeling the wrath of local government and taxation and rinsed by profiteering, shitehawk promoters.

In protest against this and with love for their city, the Madrilian are creating a cabal of local and international artists. First up on limited edition vinyl is Tronik Youth’s “Malice Of Absence”, with mixes from Red Axes and Richard Sen. Future releases come from Timothy J. Fairplay, Jamie Paton and VoX LoW amongst other insurgents.

In the sofa land of “1”s and “0”s there is the digital sibling Rotten City Files. Debut release is from Gatos Negros, whose “Deus Ex Machina” EP wears flares like they will do in This Is England ’90 no doubt.

Holographic Planes is the new project formed by Spanish DJ  and label owner Alvaro 'Rotten City'  Cabana teaming up the mighty french Damon Jee, one of the most relevant producers of the new cosmic techno rock wave of this moment. 

Both been involved in electronic music as a DJs since late 90's and influenced by many kind of genres  they decided join forces to focused mainly in peak time bombs with all the elements they like: The pressure of techno with synth arps, rock and post punk guitars, electro+ish flavors and the deepness of the 'kosmische' music.

Besides to their release at Ombra, they also have a Vox Low remix forthcoming on12 " in Rotten City Records.

Indie Trance, Neurodisco, Esoteric Wave, Goth Balearic, Industrial Boogie.

Ciclogenésis nació hace más de 4 años de la mano del colectivo de djs “The Kinky Team”; lo hizo con el deseo  de proporcionar a la escena de club madrileña una opción de baile y de consumo de música  electrónica alejada de ortodoxias en cabina y en la que la libertad y la diversidad tanto de público como de propuestas fueran nuestro denominador común; integrando desde el electro,house, techno y disco en un mismo espacio. Tras estos años Ciclogénesis ha pasado por diferentes clubs de la capital como Mind the Gap, Moroder Sound Club, Studio76, Long Play, y la Sala Republik Club en la que se ubica en la actualidad.
Por nuestra cabina han pasado artistas de muy diferente corte, desde Djs y Productores consagrados como nuevas promesas del circuito tales como Undo, Elesbaan, Mussen, Rubeck , Polska, Álvaro Cabana, Vurdalak djs, Anni Frost, Gameboyz y así hasta más de 50 artistas diferentes.
