For the past two years, every friday between 7-9 pm CET, I broadcasted two hours of electronic music mixed with obscurities and club classics from the past four decades, on Danish national radio station DR P6 Beat.

Dec 27th 2013 was the final show and I decided to play some personal favorites of 2013 and then share the clean mixes without my Danish jibberish and show jingles, right here on my Soundcloud.

This is part one of a 5 hour mix that started at 95 bpm and never got faster than 118bpm.

Presenting a 2-hour, 22 track DJ mix of what's new and what's to come in the world of tici taci. Featuring new tracks from Future Bones, Duncan Gray, Tronik Youth, A Best Man Dead, and Mr Cogs, plus a brand new Rich Lane remix (in the modern style). It was difficult trying to keep this to 2 hours - ended up missing a few which will make it on to the End of Year Report.

Some of these tracks are due for release on other labels, so my thanks to NEIN, RELISH and BLINDETONATION for the inclusions. MASSIVE thanks to Stem and Leo - I owe ya.

SMALA RADIO 010: REMAIN

Over the years we have had the pleasure to develop a friendship with Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation. 

As huge fans of the group, a collaboration to have them play at Robot Heart at Burning Man was always a dream, if an impossible one.

This year at Burning Man, just in time for the inaugural Heart & Soul sessions from Robot Heart and Thievery Corporation's 20th anniversary, we finally had the honor of hosting Thievery Corporation on the Playa.  Three years in the making, the product of serendipity, determination and a lot of team work, here is that amazing, unannounced sunset performance at the Robot Heart camp before an audience of thousands of burners. Thank you Dave Geller, Elliot Dunwoody, Pascal Pharmacon and the 18-person team from Thievery Corporation for helping make our collective dream come true!
