Tyler Simmons is a 24 year old singer/songwriter/producer. He has spent a lot of time writing independently or collaborating with others on original songs - namely James Bryan McCollum from Prozzak/Philosopher Kings, Jeff Hazin, and RBTNE (Rosanne Baker Thornley and North Easton).

Tyler graduated Magna Cum Laude at the Berklee College of Music.  He received a significant scholarship as a voice principal and declared Songwriting as his major. You may also recognize Tyler from the  Family Channel/Disney TV show called BACKSTAGE.

With a dynamic and energetic live show, The Midnight Echo has shared the stage with bands such as Finger Eleven, Monowhales, Hot Lips, and super group Bonds Of Mara. Below are just some of the testimonials from venues/promoters;

The Midnight Echo is a 4pc. Alternative Rock/Pop Punk band based in Vancouver (relocated from Toronto in 2020). The band formed in 2016 releasing their debut album ‘Voyager’ in early 2017. The band fuses the hook-laden anthems of the early 2000s with the synth-driven tones of 80s new wave to create their own unique and atmospheric sound.  You might hear the influence of U2, 30 Seconds To Mars, Angels and Airwaves, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World and maybe even some early Fall Out Boy, but the sound of The Midnight Echo is their own. Filled with passion, the music is also rich with intensity, angst, and emotion.

The band had aggressive International touring plans for 2020/2021 which unfortunately did not happen due to the pandemic. That didn’t stop The Midnight Echo as they released 3 consecutive singles to Canadian Commercial Radio each receiving play across Canada.
