Hailing from Germany with releases on labels such as Sondae, Westwood Recordings or Beat Art Department, Mined Music carries on the foundation of the musical direction where they left off and adding his personal signature to the sound - making ’Thief Of The Night’ to be deep hip-hop monster of a tune. Amvis on the vocals provides the proper quality flow fitting to the slower pace of the original.

No release on BBP Recordings would be full without some serious bass action, so Lack Jemmon is here to deliver! Their tunes and remixes already enjoy the key support of artists such as Stickybuds, Funk Hunters or Hong Kong Ping Pong and this remix work here on the EP will be just another festival banger. Speeding up the tune a little bit, while saturating the vibe with that Lack Jemmon edge to it, the Budapest based duo placed a filthy, glitch bass-heavy funk anthem on the table. This cranky, crunchy beat thunder version of the original song is the output of Lack Jemmon for quite a while, so make sure to have a check on this fresh one.

To complete the package, and to tease all the authentic funk heads, the legend he is, Mister T turns the tune towards the funky side of things. As he usually does on his vinyl, cassette or digital releases on Cold Busted Recordings, the Greek talent gains the easy breezy approach we all love him for. Opening the new year in the proper funky way here at Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, we proudly present a new collaboration release between&nbsp;Pecoe and BoydexIt's not the first time the duo finds common ground producing tunes in collaboration, and their latest work together, "Have Faith EP" adds 4 new tracks to the collection now. The funk flows through tunes like "Bring The Heat" or "Go" having breezy funky guitar licks and vocal-samples in proper use. While the rest of the EP leans towards the disco edge of things with songs like "Disco Fever" or the title tune "Have Faith"; both of them featuring Sully Sax on live saxophone instrumentation.

The last few years have seen The Niceguys in prodigious form, redefining their sound through an acclaimed musical output. Now they take time to reflect by inviting some of their favourite artists to reinterpret their work for this 'Remixed EP'. First up, production duo CMC & Silenta reimagine 'Strip It'. They skilfully preserve its funk-laden goodness injecting new life into the mix with tantalizing guitar licks, irresistible synth hooks and a beefed-up bottom end that serves as the perfect foundation for the soul-laden vocals of Bobby Saint and smooth flow of Prop Dylan. Funk Maestro Jayl Funk takes to the controls for his rework of 'Don't Let Go' in which he takes the tempo down a little, adds some horn hooks and a swinging grove to bring out the best from Justina Lee Brown's amazing vocal performance, creating a nu-funk masterpiece. Next up, Jack & Jointz toughen up the infectious 'Dance' adding breakbeat elements and organ riffs to drive along Leo's neo-soul vocals, aiming squarely at the dancefloor. Finally, rounding off the package is the classic remix of Irie by Flevans. He strips things back before building them up with a high level of musicality in a groove-heavy remix that is equally at home in a club or home listening. All in all a perfect way to round up The Niceguy's releases to date whilst we wait with anticipation for the next phase of their musical journey.

Rory is no stranger to the big beat sound having published 2 books on the subject (The Little Big Beat Book & The Story of Big Beat). Project Happiness is a prime example of his masterful use of huge crunchy drums, righteous bass lines and looping vocals to deliver on the dance floor. Right Place Right time starts with scratchy vinyl guitar loops and wobbly bass but quickly evolves into a booming party starter. Gangsta-ish takes a second look at the same tempo with funky bass, crashing drums and just enough 303 acid and dj scratching to really get the floor going. 90's Flashback sees Rory team up with Countertop hero to create a nostalgic romp into the golden age of breaks and big beat. Finally We throw it across the pond with a remix from LA based friend of the funk, Qdup who ups the tempo a bit to deliver nothing less then an instant breakbeat classic. Punchy drums and robot vocals finds a build that rises to an onslaught of distorted 808's and a sultry female vocals topped with a lead synth worthy of parliament themselves. Together these 4 tracks should not be missed and will find itself at home in any party DJs collection.
