Musiques expérimentales et traditionnelles, composition et improvisation, archaïsmes rétrofuturistes.

François Dumeaux (Rodez, 1978) a obtenu en 2006 un D.E.M. et le prix SACEM, dans la classe de composition électroacoustique de Christian Eloy et Christophe Havel, au C.N.R. de Bordeaux.
Finaliste du concours de composition acousmatique Métamorphoses 2008, il a été à cette occasion édité sur la compilation éponyme.
Pour le 80ème anniversaire de Bernard Parmegiani, il a composé « SRA » à la demande de Annette Vande Gorne.
De 2011 à 2016, il a enseigné la composition électroacoustique au C.R.R. de Bordeaux, aux côtés de Christophe Havel.

Pratiquant l’improvisation libre et l’interprétation électronique en live, il a joué avec Joan Francés Tisnèr, Alain Cadeillan, Jakes Aymonino, Christian Vieussens, Peìre Boissière et dans Crypto Tropic, familha Artús, Shapeless, etc.

Il réalise par ailleurs des créations radiophoniques, des documentaires sonores, de la sonographie pour les musées et des bandes-son pour le théâtre la danse et le cinéma.

François Dumeaux  (Rodez, 1978) won the SACEM prize and have been graduated by the Bordeaux Music Academy (C.N.R.) in the Christian Eloy and Christophe Havel’s electroacoustic composition class.
Finalist for the acousmatic composition competition Métamorphoses 2008, his piece have been released on the eponym V.A.
Annette Vande Gorne invited him to compose « SRA » for the Bernard Parmegiani‘s 80th anniversary.
Between 2011 and 2016 he teached in the Bordeaux Music Academy (C.R.R.) electroacoustic composition class.

In the free improvisation and the live electronic fields, he played with  Joan Francés Tisnèr, Alain Cadeillan, Jakes Aymonino, Christian Vieussens, Peìre Boissière and in a few bands : Crypto Tropic, familha Artús, Shapeless, etc.

He also realises radio art, documentaries, sonography for museums and soundtracks for plays, choreographies and movies.

I share music that I have made here solo or in groups. I am bundling my work with some online friends as a project oriented, micro-collective. We are happy to share with you!

Last sons of a chaotic future earth where science has blurred the line between reality and unreality, The Fireclown and Lord Shark the Unknown escaped the heat death of the universe via a stolen time machine kicked hastily into reverse (and somehow eluded the Morphail Effect in the process). Finding themselves trapped in a bygone age they inevitably turned to period musical technology in an attempt to sonically recreate the endless possibilities of a lost future.

The Fireclown aka Heatrayz and Lord Shark have been making hip hop and electronica since 2006, notably producing PCP's Gimpstyle 2 album and various tracks for NoChange as Magnum Opus and Buzz Crandall of the Argonauts.
Their new (re)incarnation is inspired by the Multiverse novels of Michael Moorcock, who has heard their music and described it as 'very flattering'. If you have not yet read his books then we recommend visiting his forums or better yet getting your hands on one.
