Brad: Good afternoon, welcome to your Reynold’s School Newscast

Annemarie: Pentagon officials went before Congress Tuesday after unidentified aerial phenomena were reported by military fighter pilots. 

A previously classified video from 2021 displayed a reflective spherical object soaring past a navy aircraft. 

Other images were released of flashing triangles that were seen through night vision goggles. 

Lawmakers and military personnel are also trying to identify if these sightings are related to new technology by foreign adversaries and whether they pose security threats. 

Lizzie: Harry Styles is tweeting there are going to be pop up shops opening in Northern America and Europe starting Friday related to a new album release. 

Styles is trending on Twitter with the hashtag Harry’s House. The new album will be released this Thursday at 9 pm pacific. 

The British pop star teased the album by releasing the song “As it Was” on April 1st.\

Will: 
NV Energy…… is making sure homeowners in the Tahoe area are prepared for potential power shut offs this summer.  There are fears of another severe fire season. 
The utility company is holding two meetings this week in Incline Village and Stateline. 
The first meeting will be held today…….Tuesday May 17th from 5:30 to 7 p.m….. at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The second meeting will occur Wednesday…May 18th… from 530 to 7pm at the Chateau in Incline Village.
 
Brad: The City of Reno is planning on the next phase of plans for wild horses in the Virginia Range.

The city is seeking more public input.

An initial meeting was held Monday night to discuss potential solutions for horse and vehicle crashes which are a growing concern in Reno. 

The city is planning to conduct a road study to help find solutions which might include lowering speed limits on Veterans, Steamboat, and Rio Wrangler.
