gulls

An aggressive percussive pattern. Created by combining FM synthesis with Noise, and controlling it with the sequencer and the envelope generators. Add some reverb and play with the filters a bit, and voila!

ARP 2500

A melodic pattern on two ARP 2600’s. Created by inverting the keyboard’s signal to one of the ARPs. One ARP produces the more bass-like pluck sound, while the other ARP plays a higher detuned synth part.

ARP 2600 1

A soundscape like pattern on two ARP 2600’s. Created by lots of Resonance and Sample & Hold on both filters, while playing on the keyboard, and messing with the filter frequencies.

ARP 2600 2

A very complex, scream-like sound. Created by modulating the amplitude of a sine wave, with another sine wave, while modulating the amplitude of that sine wave, with another sine wave. Get it? This goes through the bit booster and Lock-in Amplifier. As well as some filters, lots of reverb and a ring modulator.

Bit Booster

An almost whale-like sound, created by syncing two oscillators to each other, while messing with the frequencies, linked to the joystick of the EMS Putney. This together with lots of reverb and filters, will get you a perfect whale.
