DJ DEESIX BIO :
Eugene Mc Arthur / Dj DeesiX born just after the death of Presley in  ’ 77 .Started doing shows for grandparents and family as a little boy and turned to playing the guitar and an interest in punk music early in his life.Later also a drummer and bassist  in a school blues band.
 Alternative clubs where doing well in the 90’s  and sneaking in to Newtown and Sunnyside clubs was easy at the age of 15.The sounds of Kraftwerk / KMFDM / Ministry / Depeche Mode and even  2Unlimited  had a great influence and was his introduction to synthesized music .
Introduced to Dance music in South Africa with the sounds of Faithless / Insomnia releasing at Mother/I.C.E and Camel Raves but still Staying closely to The Alternative scene as a Vocalist in Bands.  After Marilyn Manson / Trent Reznor everything went weird , and started the introduction of Tech / Industrial and E.b.m to Alternative Lifestyles. In 2001/2 Deesix was Living with friends in the commune type way , and found his hands on a pair Pioneer Cdj’s and a Gemini 626 Mixer ( owned by the the now Cape town based DJ AModKIt and SHockWave Crew)..from there on the Love affair started..
Deesix Started out as Dj Euphonic and then later Droidsix with the Existanz Crew in 2003/2004 on one of the floors at the then , Zeplins Super club.
Wanting to take Industrial / E.B.M to a different level  he started an events Production ,  Club V.A.M.P in Mid 2004  and then moved on to co owning The Full Moon Lounge and then Opening the Factory Nightclub in Centurion 2009/2010. 
At this Time Deesix started playing a more Darker Industrial set with Aspects of Dark Soho and Infected Mushroom thrown in the Mix. Highlights at this time would be a mix done after the performance of Famous S.A Industrial Outfit Battery 9 at a show in 2009 at Full Moon Lounge.
Wanting to do more ,  Dj Deesix started Vault Productions together with Dj Acid in 2011 to be able to host more Trance and Hard Dance influenced events, hosting the Famous Twisted Circus event done by Underground S.A in November 2011.
That is when his love for Psy and even Minimal Tech grew. And so DeesiX  started to gather all the related music possible to build the perfect  mind travelling music experience . This style of his mixing career has only featured at house parties and and late night Vault Parties at Factory Nightclub in 2011/12 .Currently working on a Mind Altering Progressive trance set as well as some Low down Dirty Funk Tech.

Self proclaimed art movement The Brother Moves On is an ever-evolving performance art collective founded by Nkululeko Mthembu and his brother Siyabonga Mthembu. Determined to belie any one definition, the collective’s work is often deliberately improvised and unpredictable. Collaboration drives the collective, which strives to undermine the traditional authority of individual artist practice and ownership.
Long term members of the collective include Siyabonga Mthembu, Zelizwe Mthembu, Ayanda Zalekile, Simphiwe Tshabalala, Oscar Kgware, Itani Thalefi, Hlubi Vhakalise, Malcolm Jiyane ,Raytheon Orion,  Nolan Oswald Dennis and Stuart Cairns but membership is constantly fluctuating and transient.
Various performers, writers, artists, musicians and activists may collaborate at any given time on different projects before moving on.
The collective create live performances and installations so that meaning is generated through an experience rather than contained within one object. Fiction, re-enactment and the fantastical are utilized in performances like The Afterlife of Mr Gold, which chronicles both the life and afterlife of a supernatural fat cat – and The Brother Breaks the Bullion and The Brother Burns the Bullion – where real word economics and queer identity are amalgamated into a fable of greed and power.
In combining elements of fiction, the supernatural and the fantastical with factual history or recorded ‘truths’ in their installations and performances, The Brother Moves On defamiliarises our experience of both our present and our past. Performative fiction, which drives so much of The Brother Moves On instigates the altered realities through which the collective critique and comment on the socio-political issues of our own reality.
