Yann Caye, born February 6, 2001 in Paris, known under the stage name Yann Kyle, is a self-taught artist who began his musical career 7 years ago, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a unique artistic vision. Very early on, Yann stood out for his ability to reinvent himself and push the limits of expectations.

Coming from a family with two sisters, an older and a younger, he grew up feeling different from others, attracted by unique musical tastes like classical music from the age of 10. This singularity, once a source of difference, is today a driving force that he proudly claims and which shapes his art.

After his baccalaureate, Yann joined ESCP Business School, a course which allowed him to study in cities such as London, Paris and Turin. These international experiences, rich in contrasting inspirations, nourished his creativity. The challenge of being away from home for the first time and the significant encounters he made influenced the way he approached his musical projects. He considers his degree to be an asset that allows him to combine structure and creativity in his artistic process.

As an independent artist, Yann has overcome many challenges, including standing out in a saturated environment. Thanks to strategic and daring use of social networks, he was able to build a community on Instagram by publishing original content, often provocative or creative, which left no one indifferent. “Whether people talk about me good or bad, the main thing is that we talk about it,” he says. He also recognizes that one of the biggest challenges for an artist is losing motivation for a project, but he draws strength from the first emotions he felt when he created his tracks, remembering why he loved them in the first place.

His first single, Whispers, written and recorded in just two hours, was an immediate success, reaching more than 100,000 listeners on Spotify. Fascinated since his childhood by the music of the 70s and icons such as Dalida and Claude François, they remain inspirations for him.

Today, with his new title Je Survivrai, he further explores disco and vintage sounds, which he considers to be the perfect expression of his musical identity.

Also influenced by contemporary artists such as Lady Gaga, Yann Kyle cultivates a bold and unpredictable approach. For him, music is above all a matter of emotions transmitted by melodies, an immersive and visual experience where everyone can find themselves.

With his overflowing ambition, Yann Kyle establishes himself as an artist capable of thrilling his audience while paying homage to the great times of music.
