EDIT 23 April 2025 - I will not use any AI technology that interferes with the realm of creativity in human culture. And I will not support people who use such technology to deceive others by claiming authorship of compositions/songs/images created by generative AI.

WARNING - This is ENTIRELY A.I. generated song!!!

So... this is my first attempt at A.I. generated music. I tried this on www.udio.com. However, it is not completely created by me from scratch, but for this first time I've used it, I took a fragment of someone else's song, which stuck in my heart with its mood (I am an incurable romantic). I really regretted that it didn't have a beginning and an end, so... I generated my own. The track came out really awesome, so I've decided to share it with You. It really resonate with me... And now someone say that this A.I. generated music does not evoke emotions...

However, I still don't know what to do with this technology. There is no return to the state before it appeared, so we will have to live with it. But will I use it... I don't think so, at least not yet. For now I can't say its human influenced creation. Until they turn it into something like Crea or Leonardo, where a human influences every aspect of the work being created, or even gives A.I. directives on what it should look like, feeding it with your ideas, this is not the technology for me... Or maybe I don't know how to use it...

But time passes and sooner or later such technology will appear. Then we will be able to put aside our plugins and DAWs and create/generate whatever we dream of at the speed of thought  :)

A somewhat eclectic folksy tune that demonstrates a man's frustration with a partner that just doesn't communicate. A little mandolin, guitar, harmonica, mouth harp... a bit of fun.This is another rejuvenation job by Nat Daniels/Gentle Rain Records to improve upon my original recording. Thanks to Nat for her intuitive and compassionate assistance!

Keepsake

I have been working occasionally for years (at least since 2017) on this track, looking for a sound that could be acceptably evocative and hypnotic. Needless to continue at this point. I am unable to improve it with my skills. 

Heliopolis (Ηλιούπολις) was  an Ancient Egyptian city, the capital of a district of Lower Egypt in Pharaonic times (located north-east of Cairo, nothing remains of it today). It was of great importance in the religious life, due to the deities worshipped there: especially Ra, a solar deity who was later destinated to occupy a central position in various religions, including Roman. It is to this solar cult that the city owes its Greek name.

BLUR OBJETIVE

I finally decided to publish it, after almost two years, although I composed it for a guitarist who did not finally accept the collaboration.

I simulated a guitar with the options that my programs and my iPad give me and I thought I could offer something motivating.... but I couldn't.

Even so, I am not dissatisfied with the result and that is why I share it.
