Next up on Basement Beats is Binary Ritual from extremely talented London-based DJ & producer Teetee. This track is a peak-time powerhouse, built on thudding drums and a rolling sub that anchors its hypnotic groove channeling the energy of 90s Goa. 

With warped vocal chops and trippy, psy-inspired melodies, Binary Ritual effortlessly blurs the lines between progressive house and psytrance creating an immersive soundscape of tension and release. 

A stand-out moment from this release process was having the track selected to be featured live on BBC Radio London, by resident DJ Jess Iszatt which was another massive milestone for us.

With a refreshed visual identity of our podcast, we want to present to you another sonic recording presenting the wicked selecta of our friend DEDENIA.

Based in Warsaw with roots in the bay area, Dedenia is a DJ, producer, and promoter making a mark on the scene. His collective, Bełkot da Movement, has rapidly become a standout force in Warsaw’s Techno community. With a signature style and seamless musical flow, he never fails to surprise with his impeccable connection to the crowd. This time, with a special recording for our channel, he delivers a sonic representation of his broad skillset demonstrated in an hourlong groovy madness, representing the beloved sound that has been filling up dank and sweaty basements all across Poland for quite some time now.

Funky stabs, ghetto influenced vocals, hard-house infused baselines over and under stompy kicks are juggled in between driving techno tracks allover this soundscape. Just when you think you can’t take any more, he proves you wrong with yet another groove line on top. His dynamic and surprising selections are fused into a cohesive set that bridges timeless old-school sounds with the innovative vision of today’s producers.
