Spaceless Series [MIX 001]

Bluvel Records is an independent label based in Porto, Portugal, curating sonic landscapes that blend experimental hip-hop with atmospheric electronica. Founded in 2021, Bluvel has become a platform for emerging underground talent — a space where creative freedom and artistic risk are not only encouraged but essential.

IB13 is the artistic alter ego of Gabriel Rafael (1997, Portugal), from Vale do Sousa, a northern region of Portugal marked by rapid industrial growth.

IB13 reflects the contrast between the harmony of nature and industrial textures, capturing the tension between progress and preservation in his sound.

The dark aesthetic that defines IB13’s music symbolises the critical state of the Iberian wolf, an emblematic species on the brink of extinction, whose fight for survival mirrors the challenges of balancing humanity and the environment. Yet, like a ray of light breaking through the darkness, a subtle sense of hope lingers in his soundscapes, suggesting that the future can still be shaped by action and awareness.

From calm, reflective atmospheres to intense moments, IB13 takes the listener on an introspective journey, evoking thought and emotion in every performance.

DJNZ is a CPU instruction from Intel’s 8051 microcontroller, used to create loops.
It stands for “Decrement and Jump if Not Zero.”
Funny enough, it starts with DJ and references loops - so I had to claim it.

The 8051 is a lightweight and efficient microcontroller. It mirrors my approach to Techno - minimalistic and rhythmic. The sound that keeps me hooked to the dancefloor
