This piece by Alena Cieszko (read by Jeffrey Nagle) explores the legacy and community influence of the Appalachian Artisan Center in Hindman, a collaborative work and gallery space and hub for collaboration for artisans and artisans from across Eastern Kentucky. Alena draws from archival oral history interviews with two are jewelers, Nancy Brown and Rebecca Amburgey, to explore the influence of the center on their lives and their art.
