Hello my dear friends & visitors: At the end of the day, I am an electric guitar player at heart. And this instrumental version of the great ZZ TOP Rock ballad ‘Rough Boy’ from their 1985 album 'Afterburner' is yet another song project that takes me back to my musical roots. I did the instrument recordings, the creation of the drum tracks (Toontrack EZ Drummer 3), the mixing/mastering and the video production myself. This cover version got an 80s hard rock vibe in the course of the song project. I hope you like and enjoy the song !! Please tell me what you think about it and leave a comment. I'm a songwriter, song arranger, multi-instrumentalist and Mixing/Mastering freak dedicated to home recording and music collaborations. And the guitar is my main instrument. My musical roots go back to the 70s and 80s. In addition to my own songs, I am regularly looking for musical pearls, which I often celebrate with my musician buddies as part of virtual song projects, and thereby dress them in a new musical guise. My musician friends and I do not have financial interests.
