WOLFGANG HERBST is a German Pop musician. 
Are we all interchangeable? One of the essential questions in all the texts of Wolfgang Herbst.
Even after the first bars, it becomes clear. His music is not. Herbst is a songwriter who not only plays music,

Their music seduces with sparkling, self-willed speech and irresistible melodies in electroacoustic soundscapes. The songs are an acoustic journey of discovery, for each song is also an oscillating, surprising sound painting that reflects our life thoughtfully and exemplarily, the poles between hope and despair, longing and futility. In doing so, the band succeeds in letting us float with your songs, letting the lightness of our being not seem unbearable to us, in spite of all the gravity of our thoughts. We can find ourselves in their songs and find again in this search for a successful life. The debut album will be released very soon.

WOLFGANG HERBST ist ein deutscher Pop/Indie/Folk Songschreiber, der bereits mit Acts wie "Bosse" auf der Bühne stand,im Vorprogramm von "Sasha" auftrat und sich die Bühne mit Seeed und Pohlmann teilte.
Sind wir alles austauschbar? Eine der essentiellen Fragen, die sich durch die Texte Herbst´zieht.
Schon nach den ersten Takten wird klar. Seine Musik ist es nicht. Herbst ist ein Songwriter, der nicht nur Musik,
sondern auch seine Texte sorgsam komponiert.

Seit einiger Zeit gibt es sie wieder, Musiker aus Deutschland, die nicht nur etwas zu sagen haben, sondern die uns auch etwas sagen; Typen, die ebenso lebensklug wie lebenhungrig Gefühle und Gedanken auf den musikalischen Punkt bringen. Gisbert zu Knyphausen gehört dazu, Nils Frevert, Moritz Krämer und jetzt auch Wolfgang Herbst und das maskierte Wunder aus Hannover. Seine Musik verführt mit funkelnder, eigenwilliger Sprache und unwieder-stehlichen Melodien im elektroakustischen Soundgewand. Überhaupt sind die Lieder eine akustische Entdeckungsreise, denn jeder Song ist auch ein oszillierendes, überraschendes Klanggemälde, das nachdenklich und exemplarisch unser Leben reflektiert, die Pole zwischen Hoffnung und Verzweiflung, Sehnsucht und Vergeblichkeit abschreitet. Dabei gelingt es Wolfgang , uns mit seinen Liedern schweben zu lassen, uns bei aller Schwere der Gedanken die Leichtigkeit des Seins nicht unerträglich erscheinen zu lassen. Wir können uns in seinen Liedern wiederfinden und wieder finden auf dieser Suche nach einem gelingenden Leben. (Andreas Last)

We are now brefugees, living in brexile very near the border of the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. If you live in (the crumbling remains of) the uk, do yourself a favour and leave. * What do we stand for as a label?

We support all independent musicians who are doing something we find interesting. Our team members all have formal music education qualifications.

We are against corporate brainwash muzak, their puppet friends in the mass media, and many other corporate activities. We will fight their desecration of music until either it stops or we die. 

We believe in helping others in the face of corrupt laws and a broken system. We are pro democracy, green energy and free speech.

We're politically liberal. We cannot support the republicans, maga or gun violence in the usa. We don't see there's any real difference, other than in name, between the christian far right in the USA and the taliban in Afghanistan.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.
