"There are many stories about wolves and hunters. From Little Red Riding Hood to the Chronicles of Narnia, one thing you can be sure of is that a wolf will never be too far from the action. Applying the mysticism of our canine friends to their musical output, Miami based duo Steve Sanx and Rico from Paris formed Wolf Story and upon listening to this mix, we understand why. Guaranteed to get you howling at the moon – or at least wanting to – both producers earned their stripes as solo artists and label owners before deciding that they needed to join forces if they really wanted to have an impact. So just who were they before they became Wolf Story? Well, Steve was the Peruvian mastermind behind Goldentears and Beachside Records whilst uber Frenchman Rico ran the show at Oxygen and Bimini Records having started to DJ with Popof in the 90’s. So quite a pedigree then. “Aiming for world domination, we’re expecting to hear big things from the pairing this summer so remember, the next time there are a couple of wolves at the door, make sure you let them in...”

About the Release:
Last November, we brought back the Four Points concept, which dates all the way back to 2008, and as the name suggests its an EP that consists of 4 distinct talents from 4 corners of the world. Now, we're following that package up with Four Points II, with four fresh new tracks from some top producers from entirely new parts of the world.

Kicking things off is DJ T. with his remix of Sharam & Chance Caspian's 'Morning Glory,' originally from the 2016 album Retroactive. DJ T.'s mix is just what you'd expect from the legendary Berlin DJ. It's bouncy and groovy, a nice builder that falls squarely into house territory. Khainz brings the heat with 'Acrux,' a typically epic techno squelcher from the Luzern-based artist, and he proves once again that his chops in the studio are second-to-none. Miami up-and-comers Wolf Story are up next with 'Time,' which harkens back to the progressive house-meets-vocals sound that is so classic Yoshitoshi. And finally, our main man in Athens CJ Jeff serves up another beautiful vocal track with 'So Far From Home,' which has received the edit treatment from Sharam. This package is diverse and dynamic with no shortage of peak moments. In other words, it's quintessential Yoshi.

Duo composed of Parisian born Rico and Peruvian Steve, Wolf Story has made some serious noise this year with releases on Defected, Yoshitoshi and SimmaBlack. With their latest release "The Harp" dropped by Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 recently, they are now getting requests from all the best imprints around the world. 

Following up on their remix of the Kerri Chandler classic "Keep Me inside", the dynamic duo is back on King Street but this time for an edit of Dennis Ferrer. "Dem People Go" features some nice piano riffs, exciting arpeggios and a subliminal afro house groove. African vocalist Bela Elbo delivers some engaged lyrics on the condition Africans have to go through. 

One of the most respected DJs in the galaxy already gave a very nice feedback: "I Loove the Dennis Ferrer remix" Laurent Garnier. 

"Dem People Go" will drop on King Street Nov 16th.

Dennis Cruz, Yamil - Beautiful Trip (Wolf Story Remix)

Miami based duo Steve Sanx and Rico from Paris are Wolf Story, the next act up on Get Physical Music.

Between them this pair has a rich heritage that dates back to the nineties and takes in running labels like Goldentears and Bimini Records and DJing with Popof. Together they have shaken the walls of clubs all over Europe as well as festivals like Movement. They starred on the Defected Ibiza 2018 Compilation and have had props from Kevin Saunderson, so are a well-established duo always making moves.

The gorgeous ‘Heart Love’ is suitably emotive, with dancing drums and glowing keys, soaring synths and expressive, dreamy vocals all uplifting your soul. The pianos are played with real feeling, and the string stabs only enrich things further to make this the sort of lush, open air house track to get hands in the air and the love flowing.

The second superb offering is ‘Between The World And Me’, which is just as impressively musical but on a more downbeat and introspective tip. Again fleshed out with beautiful chords and keys, bird calls and deeper drums play off while you wallow in the midst of this most heart-warming track.

Wolf Story really conjure up some magic here, on this latest gem from Get Physical Music.
