Literal nonsense. I put baritone strings on one of my guitars and wanted to mess around in A Standard pretending I'm Knocked Loose. Also a few months ago I bought a new drum VSTi but forgot about it. Shit's gonna be a pain to learn, so here's me just messing around with GGD Invasion, Eurobass II, and everything slammed into Ozone at -6 Lufs or something.

Adding pedals before an audio interface commits half of the tone to the DI and creates limitations, but can spur creativity. I wanted to see how decent of a sound I could get out of a 30 dollar metal zone clone. It functions as a preamp straight into the STL Will Putney plugin for noise gating and a Mesa cab IR and it has a vibe, but throwing the one overdrive pedal I have on hand in front of it really tightens up the sound. To capture the sound, I thought it needed context. So I quickly came up with some stock hardcore riffs and doubletracked them (very loosely, you can hear I forgot what I played on the first pass lol) and added bass and stock MIDI drum loops. The whole quick demo is swimming in the post-processing of Izotope Ozone's automatic mastering magic.
