Ceremonia (“Ceremony”) is the first collaborative release between singer-songwriter Luvi Torres, and producer Chancha Vía Circuito. Combining Luvi’s exceptional voicework with powerful creative rhythms typical of Chancha, the lyrics include mantras Luvi uses in their therapeutic exercises, thereby immersing us in a healing musical world. 

Taken as a whole, the album’s four tracks, Abro (“I Open”), Creo (“I Believe” or “I Create”), Sano (“I Heal”), Amo (“I Love”) encourage sensitive receptivity. Luvi’s vocals are enveloped by lush ambient dub. Chancha’s rhythms and vibrations create a comforting and calming soundscape that invites a sense of timelessness and expansion. 

At times Ceremonia spirals hypnotically, blurring the distinction between inner and outer worlds. This music calls for attentive listening and encourages active individual and collective reinvention.

Luvi Torres and Chancha Via Circuito - two groundbreaking Argentinian artists - offer an early taste of their first collaborative EP, “Ceremonia,” with “Sano,” a stunning work of rich harmonies and meditative ambience. “Sano,” meaning “I heal,” sees singer-songwriter Luvi Torres’ voice layer in interspersed melodies and harmonies, repeated as if a mantra, while Chancha Via Circuito’s (aka Pedro Canale) sparse productions seem to float wistfully around the soundscape: A subtle yet beautiful presence.

The full “Ceremonia” EP and 2x7” is due out on Wonderwheel Recordings October 15th.

O conceito de modernidade líquida foi desenvolvido pelo sociólogo polonês Zygmunt Bauman e diz respeito a uma nova época em que as relações sociais, econômicas e de produção são frágeis, fugazes e maleáveis, como os líquidos. O conceito opõe-se, na obra de Bauman, ao conceito de modernidade sólida, quando as relações eram solidamente estabelecidas, tendendo a serem mais fortes e duradouras.

"Raso" é uma música que divaga sobre essa reflexão do passageiro, da falta de empatia, de não estar de corpo e alma presente...é uma reflexão sobre o não prestar atenção no momento de agora e ficar mirabolante no futuro.

Até o fim da produção dessa faixa, achei que estava criando ela para outras pessoas com quem tive experiências rasas, mas depois de um tempo, fui percebendo que era um ensinamento para mim mesmo, nessa busca do profundo.

“Por la Patagonia” es el single del próximo lanzamiento de Quinto Fuego, un EP de cuatro canciones creadas por Biomigrant y Derrok, cuando fueron vecinos por varios meses en el sur de Chile, más específicamente en Pucón.

La canción cuenta una historia de naturaleza y montañas, con la voz y vientos de Mike (Biomigrant) y las cuerdas de Joaquín (Derrok), sumándole una estructura electrónica creadas por ambos con ritmos dinámicos y juguetones. Además, se pueden escuchar entremedio el canto de los Hued Hued, ave endémica chilena que los dos productores frecuentaban escuchar en sus paseos invernales por los bosques.

In Norse mythology, a valkyrie  from Old Norse valkyrja "chooser of the slain") is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Selecting among half of those who die in battle (the other half go to the goddess Freyja's afterlife field Fólkvangr), the valkyries take their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin. 
There, the deceased warriors become einherjar (Old Norse "single (or once) fighters"). When the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens and sometimes connected to swans or horses.

Valkyries are attested in the Poetic Edda (a book of poems compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources), the Prose Edda, the Heimskringla (both by Snorri Sturluson) and the Njáls saga (one of the Sagas of Icelanders), all written—or compiled—in the 13th century. They appear throughout the poetry of skalds, in a 14th-century charm, and in various runic inscriptions.

Would like to share with you very special audio recording. This is a introductory part for a dj set that i played this year at Psy-Fi festival.
 
For this performance i invited my new friend - Fresh to join me with his mantra live vocal looping improvisation. This collaboration created some very special vibe and raise energy on the dance-floor. Unfortunately his audio and all the rest wasn’t recorded.
 
Don't forget,  our life is a direct consequence of our daily actions and intentions. When we change ourself - we change the world around us.
