“Los Danzantes” is the second Wonderwheel released single from singer/producer Huaira and musician Captures. The track was written in Berlin, and inspired by the sounds of the city’s underground dance music scene with a glitchy 4-on-the-floor drumbeat accompanied by deep, electronic sounds and hypnotic, tribal percussion and vocals. Sung in Spanish, the song is lyrically inspired by the ceremony of the Sun Dance, with an urgent message of our existence and the importance of connecting with the body, earth, and the cycle of life.

With change in the air and much anticipated wellness on the way it seemed like the right time to create a memento of this recent chapter of life... 

The music woven together in this homebrew is quite sentimental, the exact medicine I never knew I needed until it landed in my body at the right time and interestingly the right pace with most being a similar tempo and tone. 

Each of the tracks were recognised from within as a remedy long before I came to understand their meaning or relevance let alone marinade in their melodies. 

It is only now when I listen back that I come to appreciate the inner intelligence at work here and in turn start to rebuild some trust in my body and it’s ability to heal.
