Seit 2002 legen die gebürtigen Berliner Max und Samuel, zunächst unabhängig voneinander, in der Berliner Clubszene auf.
Ihre Anfänge fanden sie in der karibischen Musik. 2005 begann sich Samuel vermehrt auf elektronische Musik zu konzentrieren, wobei erste Selections entstanden und 2008 die ersten eigenen Produktionen folgten. In diesem Jahr führte die Musik die beiden Jungs zusammen und machte sie Ende des Jahres 2009 zu den Mitbegründern der „elektronischen Klangkost“, einer etablierten Partyreihe in Berlin. Schlussendlich bilden sie seit Mitte 2012 das Produzenten und DJ-Team: #Wonkers.
Ihre Sets, die von Deep- und Tech House geprägt sind, werden durch Ihre kreative und leidenschaftliche Bühnenperformance zu einem unverkennbaren Ereignis. There's an argument to be made that Saschienne's well-documented fascination with the unknown bleeds into their mixing technique, looking at how they obviously don't care for genre proficiency. It's quite some trippy stuff they present in this podcast exclusively made for Japanese dance music hub Clubberia, and it comes from all angles, in the most unsuspected ways. Exactly our cup of tea, especially when someone pulls off a stunt like stuffing the no wave hop of ESG, JayDee's timeless classic "Plastic Dreams" and Conrad Schnitzler's electrified ode to socialist propaganda all into one mix. A huge bonus drop comes with Dixon's Remix of Saschienne's very own "Unknown", to be released on the 21st of may as a collaborative 12" from Kompakt and Innervisions.

Hallo liebe Liebenden,

frohe Ostern euch allen. Als kleines Osterei haben wir einen neuen Podcast für euch. An den Decks standen diese Woche die Wonkers. 
Max und Samuel sind die beiden Herren, die sich hinter diesem Projektnamen verbergen. Die Beiden kennen sich schon eine halbe Ewigkeit und sind unter dem namen Wonkers seit zehn Jahre in der Berliner Clubszene aktiv. Nach Veröffentlichungen auf Well Done! Music, Erase und Der Turnbeutel, wird demnächst noch eine Kooperation‘s Ep auf House Music with Love erscheinen. 
Die Jungs haben mittlerweile ihr eigenes Label an den Start gebracht, Polylog Arts heist das Prunkstück und sie sind fleißig am Nachwuchs rekrutieren. 
Die Jungs haben noch viel vor, wir dürfen gespannt sein.
