The Bridport Dagger recently performed in an echo chamber under the river Thames and supplied sound design for a seven day immersive play in Berlin. The band incorporate elements of flamenco and rockabilly alongside the melodrama of Scott Walker. 

The single was recorded at Brixton Hill Studio and will be released digitally on Friday the 13th October. The band will soon be heading back to the studio in November to record songs for their debut album. 

Influences include Suicide, Nadine Shah, Anna Calvi, Roy Orbison, Guadalupe Plata, Clinic, The Gun Club, Flamenco, Get Your Gun, Ennio Morricone, Wim Wenders and film noir.

Founded in 2002, Slovenly Recordings was a new direction for label veteran Pete "Stickerguy" Menchetti. Having just scrapped his 702 Records (Scared of Chaka/ The Loudmouths) imprint, Pete was on a mission to release only the best in garage and punk shit rock for crazy kids all over the planet. Starting with a very fine full length release by the Netherlands' swampiest caveman blues duo Lo-Lite, Slovenly has grown to be one of the most respected labels world wide for ripping and REAL rock'n'roll!
