‘What Goes Around’ is the debut limited edition single from The Anchoress - a new project from Welsh London-based multi-instrumentalist Catherine Anne Davies, co-produced with Paul Draper. Set for release 5th May 2014 as a limited edition of 500 clear heavyweight vinyl (which sold out in 24 hours on preorder) via the prestigious Too Pure label (PJ Harvey, Stereolab, Hookworms), ‘What Goes Around’ is the first taste of The Anchoress’ forthcoming debut album and is a refreshing blast of “revenge pop”, with angular guitars and barbed lyrics framing this anthem about karmic balance.

‘What Goes Around’ will be released on May 5th 2014 via TOO PURE.

Since 2002, Koray Kantarcıoğlu has been working on series of abstract landscape drawings that take inspiration from geological processes, astrophotography and other natural phenomena. Basic element of Bitmap Landscapes Series consists of the single pixel that is essence of the whole. His only tool is MS Paint, a simple graphics painting software. Kantarcıoğlu continuously creates/recreates drawings in an open ended process. It is always a new version of a landscape that emerges, just like the natural processes themselves, both in their construction and erosion.
Book contains works from 2003 to 2014 in chronological order.

Koray Kantarcioglu - 'Bitmap Landscapes' Preview (BOOK + CD)

Loopworks brings together Koray Kantarcıoğlu's work composed of samples taken from Turkish records pressed around 60's and 70's.

In accordance, the design for the album came from a similar idea. The album covers which provided the source were first converted into text in WPE and into audio files in RDI, then the images that were converted into text had their codes modified and the audio files were altered by adding effects such as echo and reverb.

This method is also known as databending.
