Kes is a popular Caribbean pop/soca group known for a unique blend of soulful vocals, calypso-inspired melodies, rock riffs and island beats. Formed in Trinidad, the group, led by vocalist Kees Dieffenthaller, has amassed over 7 million combined YouTube views, shared stages with artists such as Rihanna, Maroon 5 and John Legend, collaborated with Snoop Dogg, and thanks to their electrifying live show, has become a top concert draw around the world. The group also includes Dieffenthaller’s brothers Hans (drums) and Jon (guitar) and best friend, Riad Boochoon (bass).

Juice was formed way back in the 1960's and were part of the early underground movement that later developed into psychedelic and progressive rock. Although we were an original and innovative band, we were completely overlooked by the major record labels. We refused to be exploited or conform to their rules and chose to remain independent. We had a great affinity with our audiences and managed to build up a huge cult following, but being outsiders, we never had any mainstream success. In those days it was impossible to go against the established corporate music business that had overwhelming control over the industry.

Juice were eventually forced to put a limit on their live shows, but we stuck together and continued writing and recording. We have stayed true to our beliefs and remain outsiders, but with the help of modern technology, we are now able to continue what we started and reach out to our audience in ways that were unimaginable in the past.
