"His track ‘UFO’ is a seesaw teetering from brunt guitar riffs with unforgiving bass and smashing drums, to gentle strums. The introduction is beautiful. The layering produces a stunningly calm mood with caressing guitars that are somewhat reminiscent of Pink Floyd’s ‘Marooned’.

It makes the switch to the harsher state and again goes back and forth, before bringing the bridge that made me want to tell you readers about him. The intensity of this section, accompanied by the words, “Come on down, without a sound,” is impossible to understand without listening to it. So here it is!

He possesses a diversity that stirs within you a million different feelings: sorrow, anguish, love, yearning…

And then there is the guitar solo with Led Zeppelin-tinged licks that provide an eclectic development of sound throughout the entire song."

"UFO is deceptively slow, it lulls you into a sense of security before kicking you into a musical riot, not entirely against your will though.

Orchestral, verging on classical before being shattered by the echoing of gritty, grungy guitars. Wright’s voice crying out over the beautiful composed musical arrangement that flits between genres so effortlessly. Long and soothing and with that kick that keeps you listening to the very last chord"

The tender, densely textured opening movement of guitar and strings welcomes us warmly before the mood switches with an intense barrage of jagged guitar and drums – like meteors crashing into frozen seas – and a vocal performance both delicate and raw. The interplay between these temperaments gives the song a tense atmosphere, which builds to a peak of strident drums, rolling bass and a guitar solo that probes the frets at first before unleashing a brief frenzy of assured riffing. The final movement echoes the opening, offering us comfort and space to breathe, and encourages us to go back to the start and press play again."

A review of 'UFO' on Echoes and Dust by Gilbert Potts:

"The song builds gently from slow arpeggios and synth strings that calm and sooth before launching into a raw and tense chorus with a great air of angst. Rather than rely on one element to create that contrast and shift, Wright blends variations in pace, instrumentation, vocals, volume and production that work together to create the light and shade.
There is plenty of passion and character to the slightly nasally and warbling vocals – more that you often find at the higher end on male singers. Dare I say a bit Jeff Buckley a couple of tones lower.
It's a long song for this style but avoids feeling like it's going over the same old ground time and time again with enough surprises and variation thrown in."
