This song is a fight against the patriarchy. Those oppressed for not being the “status quo” of white or straight or male. Those fighting for the right to just live a normal life without having to constantly fear for their lives. We titled this song “NYX” because in Greek Mythology, NYX was the only goddess Zeus feared. It’s a metaphor for being feared for being different and powerful.
